Maresca isnt getting anywhere near enough out of this squad. The constant meaningless chopping and changing. Managing the minutes of key players that we can ill afford to be without. Persevering with players that are clearly not good enough.

Madness utter madness. Maresca is out of his depth.

Disappointing result. To be caught out by the same goal twice in a match after previously been done with a similar effort is poor.

The time though is now right to build the side around our two special talents. No ifs or buts Esteban and Palmer have to start together the majority of of games.

We could have played all night and never looked likely to score the 3rd. We’re a joke get rid of this bald fraud and save what’s left of our season.

Another game where the coach/manager Enzo Maresca really makes bad decisions. Poor team selection. Poor game management. Failure to motivate the players. Failure to have anything resembling a game plan. sure, you can pick on a few players, but we all know what/who the real problem is.

Only positive for me was Estevao and for some inexplicable reason he shoves him out to the left when he was doing well on the right when Neto is perfectly capable of playing on the left

Caicedo was already suspended for the City game and this defence made of buffoons was not going to stop City from scoring at least three, so why manage Palmer's minutes just days after saying he is finally ready for a full match?

Estevao was lively and playing so good on the right, then gets shifted on the other side when Neto could have easily played there like he's done before and did good there...

Caicedo is basically restricted to get closer to 40 metres from the opponents goal and has to always protect the backline and still the center backs find a way to make a mess of every single counterattack they face...

I just don't understand anymore... What an utter embarrassement it is that after investing so much this team is not capable to field a single decent centerback and a single man in midfield to complement Caicedo who is basically left for dead there every single time.

Agreed. Estevao has to play. Either on right which means Palmer in centre or Estevao on left and Palmer on right. As it stands my preference is the latter because I'd rather see Garnacho and Gittens on xhamster then I would ever see them appearing on our left hand side again.

Going to end up losing our more exciting players due to the owners and clown of a manager

It’s depressing

Nah, won't happen. These fckers will gloat over the fact that they have got these players nailed down on death row contracts. Oh happy fcking campers.

I don’t know which half was more depressing. The shambolic defending of the first half or the aimless attempt to score in the second. All our faults on display in two halves of awful football.

Could easily have been solved with the purchase of a centre back and a striker over the summer. Instead we have to watch as we slide our way down into mid-table oblivion.

Couldn't even stomach the manager's interview, turned it off after the first player to come out says that things are starting to come together.

How is no win in 7 with few of those flattering the opposition any sign of progress?

Guy is an absolute tosser.

MOTM Estavao - should be first name on the sheet for me

Enzo has become a liability... I mean he's stopping a better player playing... he's crap - he's too slow for this league.

Has become?

The only good thing to say there is that it's great you've come out of a year long coma so successfully? He has been a liability longer than I have been wearing XL tshirts.

Spot on OTL.

Never in the field of football have such large cracks been papered over by so little.

There's no doubt we are going backwards.

Bournemouth's threat was significantly curtailed when James came on. Fofana's composure gives a clue that he could play in a better organised team. But there are players that just don't add enough to a performance. Enzo has too many weaknesses in his game to be played this frequently. He scored but little else. As long as we rely on him as a midfield general, or any role really, teams will break through us. He's slow, goes to ground far to easily and gifts possession far too frequently. Delap isn't showing any signs that he can step up. There are others too.

Overall I think Maresca has run out of ideas and the squad lacks experience. A new impetus is required in the dressing room so I'd sack Maresca and give JT and Jody Morris the rest of the season. I'm serious. We've got absolutely nothing to lose. We are not a Champions league team and won't get relegated. I'm sure the players are bored senseless with Maresca's BS.

You can see Garnacho reaction when they scored the 2nd he is furious with himself then Sanchez comes in and gives him both barrels. I know an idiot said it wasn’t his fault but I assume he’s just out of hospital or something

Garnacho is so 1 footed defenders know what he’s going to do. I would actually try him on the right wing side can go round the outside

Oh and MARESCA OUT

Eghbali and co don’t even watch the games, the sporting directors feed them whatever information they like, at least with Roman, you’d know he’d be looking down in disgust, with subsequent consequences.

Then leave him on to grow into the game and gain match fitness. What the f**k has Neto done since he came on? Nothing. Delap? Nothing. Enzo? Invisible in the 2nd half as usual.

Palmer isn't at his best, but he's been so close tonight to getting into a position to create or score himself. We gain nothing with him off the pitch. A half fit Palmer is better than almost every player on the pitch.

I agree with you, but the thing is Palmer was not affecting the game at all. We say Pedro is not a natural no.9, so then he tried to change it. Look, yes Delap was poor and could have easily came off but then yet again I don't blame him for trying two strikers up top. I genuinely am worried how ineffective he has been recently from a player who is considered to be arguably the best player in the league.

If I remember correctly Garnacho made exactly the same mistake that led to Brentford's equalizer in the 2-2 draw earlier this season. From almost a carbon copy long throw.

Maresca is being enabled by somebody above his pay grade. The only reason to keep a manager that stinks the gaff out like he does week in week out is for non ️ reasons. We know Clearfake ain’t short of a few bob so one has to ask why does he stay ? Well if he’s a man that salutes when requested, entertains stupidity from the owners and their just as incompetent sporting directors and puts lots of the players in the shop window as much as possible then he’s probably their man. They binned TT and Poch the only 2 experienced enough managers for this job because let’s be realistic they knew better and wouldn’t cooperate in their 2 bob project.
