I genuinely don't believe the players aren't good enough, I honestly think maresca has coached the talent that got them here out of them with his negative style and mentality. Also when his tactics go wrong he blames the players.

Palmer isn't at his best, but he's been so close tonight to getting into a position to create or score himself. We gain nothing with him off the pitch. A half fit Palmer is better than almost every player on the pitch.

Simply put, we need better wingers. It's painful to look back at the money we've spent on Gittens, Garnacho, Mudryk, Sterling. Maybe there is hope with Quenda also.
