March 14Mar 14 Given Clearlake's history with managers I'm not sure that Rosenior will even make it to the end of the season. We've got some tough matches coming up against experienced opponents and its quite conceivable that we unravel like we did under Potter.
March 14Mar 14 Can't even be bothered put this defeat on Rosenior. I just hate where this club is at the minute. Edited March 14Mar 14 by timetowaste
March 14Mar 14 Rosenior has no idea how to organise a defence. The movement in attacking positions was none existent today, totally static. His time is clearly spent on improving the passing around at the back and from the goalkeeper to defenders under pressure. Somebody promoted well above (!) his level.Forget the nonsense about giving him time. Things are going downhill game after game now.

March 15Mar 15 Hiring novice losers leads to successWell if you are Blueco it makes perfect sense We need a total clear out top to bottom.

March 15Mar 15 Honest take on Rosenior, nice guy, decent coach... Im not going to blame him for our performances which are slowly nosediving. He was never a chelsea manager as the club profile is well above his pay grade and failure to deliver CL football next season see's our biggest names sold. Not his fault, this is simply where we are as a club right now. I hope he does better between now and end of the season but someone in the PR department needs to do his media because its embarresing listening to him jibber jabber.
March 15Mar 15 Not going to be his fault if we miss out on Champions League. We were 8th when he took over. Currently 5th, probably 6th after today. We're 4th since 8th January, after a relatively easy run of fixtures. For the last 8 games, we need to perform at a level we currently haven't seen this season if we are to qualify for next season's CL. Probably need minimum of 6 wins.
March 15Mar 15 We have fallen so far with these f**king clowns in charge. Look at the position of the players here even James. If Santos is playing that ball doesn’t get play as he is sitting between the CB. I have honestly never sweared so much supporting Chelsea in close to 30 years. The board, SD, manager they literally make me viscerally enraged whenever I think about the sh*t they have done which is why I completely switch off before and after matches. Been doing it since Potter got hope under Poch then started again under £land Pep.I block out all football news now and completely switch off. Edited March 15Mar 15 by El regreso

That’s a huge reason to where we’re at now in the league table.I’m not holding anything against Rosenior. It’s definitely the worst week he’s had since becoming a Chelsea manager but I think generally, he did ok so far.
March 15Mar 15 Yesterday was flat but I'm not gonna go all in on Rosenior.Like I said when we appointed him the problem is The Board, The Sporting Directors and their player recruitment.Again looking at our bench shows how far we've fallen and the only players missing that can make a difference is Colwill and Estevao. No top manager will come while the manager has such little input on matters on the field.Liam could help himself by putting a stop to that daft huddle in the centre circle (do it somewhere else on the pitch please), play Reece at right back instead of Gusto, play Santos or Lavia as a number 6 instead and less mucking about at the back. All in all The Board is the problem, that's why someone like Enrique turned down the job.
March 15Mar 15 I badly wanted him to succeed, as that would mean the team was succeeding, and I wouldn't be in a foul mood every second weekend. The performance yesterday was poor but was confounded by Rosenior's press conference. He's cracking unfortunately. Another coach who has found himself in a job that is too big for him.The highlights were:Showing the players a league table compiled since he arrived showing that "we are third in table, we're not out of it". By the end of today we will be 6th on the actual table, the one that decides Champions League places. Informing us, with a straight face, that the huddle around the ball "is the Leadership Group wanting to show respect for the ball". I understand that the ball should feel valued, and most importantly, safe, but the Leadership Group would need to be mindful that an inexperienced ball might also need accurate, incisive guidance. His insistance that we have invented a new way to "press". Imagine that. A game which was codified 163 years ago and consists of 2 teams and one ball. One team has the ball and the other team has to try and take it from them. 163 years later along comes Liam and invents a new way achieve this. A way, which when not properly executed, leads to one the easiest goals that any team has ever scored since 1863. It looks as if the team is playing as if there are no consequences. That's down to the coaching staff.

We just have to hope that the Leadership Group had the good sense to issue a trigger warning to the ball, in case incessant sideways and backwards passing, with very occasional blasting high into the stands, might cause unexpected emotional distress, anxiety, or flashbacks.

We'll start with the infamous Leadership Group and their huddle and call Paul Tierney as a lead witness.
March 15Mar 15 Author I don't blame Rosenior for being a poor manager as that was what I expected from him. If you buy a lemon and get mad when it is not a Ferrari then that's on the buyer.I do blame him for all the ridiculous nonsense he spouts making us look ever more like a clown college.

Just a gimmick from a team that has nothing else to offer. They know they can't show anything on the pitch so they resort to this pantomime show of focus and solidarity. This along with all the dissent and moaning at every referee decision have made us as unlikable as Arsenal, except we can't get results. Huddle and pray in the dressing room FFS! And while we're at it, that odd little hop when stepping onto the pitch from the tunnel: it really, really doesn't help. With anything.
