Our Liam's are less than average. Even Liam Gallagher would loose his swagger if he was at Stamford Bridge for any time.

Yep, we're the laughinstock of the entire footballing world. Drama queens craving attention for all the wrong reasons, be that a shocking record of ill discipline or performative huddles in the center of the pitch, or acting entitled while also ready to surrender whenever things don't go their way, they're like a bunch of incredibly spoiled and moody teenagers, really.

Every ownership/management has their own way of doing things and the team is usually the reflection of those in charge, that's my view of it. Fake cynical people hired other fakes who have built a castle in the sand and advertise it as a impenetrable fortress, while everyone else sees them as clowns in a crazy circus of their own creation.

I said in the match thread that it's like these lot have a humiliation fetish, they're embarrassing themselves and us with their antics. All of this huddle nonsense, it's just desperation. They have no answer to the sh*t they produce on the pitch, so they have to fake it. The head coach is exactly the same, all we get from him is word salad and a lack of authenticity.

Not sure if you watched the post match press conference but he stressed multiple times that it doesn't matter and its taking away from the real issue at hand. He wasn't deflecting, its just the media trying to focus on it.

Just a reminder these are the 8 remaining league matches Rosenior and Co need a strong points hall in for CL qualification:

Everton (A)

Manchester City (H)

I think Liam will learn pretty quickly that when you're manager of Chelsea you're never going to be a media darling and they will harp on about anything negative about the club or the team.

That is a tough run-in, but there isn't one match there that we should go into with the players half expecting a defeat, and I include Man City as well.

Maybe getting knocked out of the Champions League will sharpen our focus and we can then overtake Villa.

Nothing has dramatically changed. We're conceding a bit more. Scoring a bit more. Winning a bit more, though his run of PL games has been relatively easy so far, so you need to at least reach about the same number of games to compare. Unless I've calculated it all wrong.

It does sound as if the club/SDs are under big pressure to get CL next season. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit that he’s under pressure.

When things crumble they'll scapegoat the manager and replace him with the exact same profile, only slightly less experienced. Rinse and repeat.

I must admit, I thought LR would be more street wise and more tactically smart given his playing career and also that he’s a smooth talker.

His football comes across as completely naive and over philosophical which is exposed easily.

I think there will be accountability in some manner though. We've gone from 10th, to 6th, to 4th, and now potentially below 4th. We're going backwards in a season where we should at the very least be cementing champions league qualification comfortably.

If we finish 6th, we are losing out on potentially earning €50–100m from Champions League and broadcasting revenue. If we finish in a Conference League place, its already been shown how its more expensive to compete in that competition vs not being in it at all. The club's hunt for a front of the shirt sponsor also becomes much more difficult considering no one would give the club the time of day even with Champions League qualification, and the fact betting sponsors will become illegal. So Everton, Villa, etc will be the hunt as well.

The numbers should be viewed after this season: in what position in the table did we finish and did we win any silverware. Rosenior's percentages may end up better than Fraudo's, but if it means not qualifying for the CL and erhaps not even the Europa or Conference League, and no FA Cup (practically all that's left), it doesn't mean anything.
