It’s going to be the same sh*t ain’t it all my optimism that Alonso would mean change is drained.Quanda, Barco, Emegha all palmed on him. I can see Cucarella and Fernandez leaving which would be fine if the money was used correctly but once again all I see is our first team getting slightly worse. And still nobody sacked for transfer window after transfer window millions spent to go backwards….crazy.Sanchez isn't great but if you are talking about starting to build a title winning, we have far bigger problem than Sanchez

May 28May 28 Been saying for a while, we offload Enzo for whatever we can get and replace him with Wharton, we immediately become a much better team.He might not score many, but the likes of Palmer, Pedro and Estevao would then thrive.

One of the best passers in the world, if he was spanish he would be starting for Spain, cant believe Tuchel hasnt taken him.

May 28May 28 Liverpool I believe were the most keen on Wharton. Going to be difficult offering no European football and our hideous wage cap.
May 28May 28 Just now, dkw said:Or take both and not f**king Henderson...There is that option. But who tucks them all into bed at night and croons a lullaby and empties their potties? Answer me that.
May 28May 28 59 minutes ago, dkw said:Or take both and not f**king Henderson...I have it on good authority that neither Wharton or Anderson could match Henderson's outstanding rendition of Kumbaya My Lord, whilst sitting round the campfire and Anderson only just scrapped in 'cos he makes a great cup of "der tee".

No serious club believes Penders is anywhere near ready (he may never be ready from what I have seen)The circus continues.United brought in Lammens and have been fine. For a season with no europe I am more than happy going into the season with Penders as number 1, problem is I doubt Sanchez would accept being number 2 and don't think I would want him around as 2nd anyway, whenever he doesn't play he often comes in and drops clangers even more regularly.

May 29May 29 I'm not convinced Wharton or Anderson would make a difference. The Blue co strategy doesn't encourage or embrace such players.
May 29May 29 It's hard to predict anything atm before knowing who's staying and who's coming. However, if the roster remains anything like it is today, I reckon an asymmetrical formation — perhaps with 3 atb, even with Caicedo there — wouldn't surprise me.I've been reading that he has used asymmetrical formations quite a bit (one side not mirroring the opposition), so I was just wondering about that, esp considering the difficulties in our backline. Josh might be able to get more minutes in a 3 atb situation, for ex.Speculation... I know, but still fun to do.

Rodgers could be available for a similar fee. I worry we will end up signing Alex Scott. Why would you worry if we signed Alex Scott? It would easily be the greatest signing of the BlueCo era. Most of us would be over the moon.
May 30May 30 Slots been sacked! What strange timing considering all the talk of Alonso being lined up. I’m assuming Liverpool fans are fuming not because of the sacking but not sacking him sooner and missing out on Alonso.

May 30May 30 Sounds like they’ve got Iraola lined up who I read, is not interested in making decisions and happy to just coach. Suspect he’s probably a better fit for their model
