The only logical explanation Is probability..

either we do a 100 mil player at 400K a week

or 4 kids at 25 mil at 100k a week.. 

I guess we are hoping that there is a greater chance of success with 4 players rather than 1 player..

The reason for buying talented kids is because those assets will appreciate, whereas buying a player for huge money in their prime will see a depreciating asset.

"Wonderkids" in football are an incredibly hit and miss thing though. Large majority of them will never make it. So most of them we won't even break even on at these prices.

Although it has provided a contrasting deadline day experience where we know we will be selling/loaning some and trying to figure out if we're going to get it horribly wrong

Believe it when I see it. 

It was sad watching Ollie Giroud with France last night. Not just because he bunged his ankle and it looked serious. He looked as dangerous as ever, linking up play as well as ever. Freezing him out was a monstrous mistake.

Not sure why he's not working at Utd as I don't watch many matches other than Chelsea, but any thoughts on that and does it improve us at all over Mudryk? I haven't given up on the Ukrainian yet though.
