Benzema would be worth the risk for half a season although I wonder whether the commitment would be there. Isak would be a good choice longer term, that lad knows where the net is.

Fans do realise Benzeme earns over a €1m/week right? There is no way a move is feasible, and I would question his commitment especially with us stuck in mid table.

He'd obviously have to drop his wages if he wants to move away from Saudi, which he clearly does.

    Isak's injury record is a concern though.

    Benzema rumours worry me. No doubt he is great, but I can remember a few instances where he has supposedly caused dressing room problems, and that's the last thing we need on top of the existing mess.

    That's true.

    And he's apparently now gone AWOL at his Saudi club as well ... 

    I don't think any of these older players are anywhere on Clearlakes's radar right now anyway ... 

    We probably should have kept hold of Giroud in hindsight ...

    Though we've apparently moved on to 20 year old Duran Duran from Aston Villa.

    20 years old.  Can't get a game.  Next to 0 career goals.  South American.

    How could Boehly resist?

    We need to spend more money on Brazilain kids. wonder kids. Generational talent.  Generational talent wonder from Brazil .

     

    We are looking at 60m euro (£52m) release clause to sign Palmeiras' 16-year-old Brazil Under-17 winger Estevao Willian.

    I think any incoming might depend on a couple of permanent outgoings from the likes of Kepa, Lukaku, Ziyech, Sarr. Wouldn't surprise me if a couple of the current squad are bumped as well to keep the rest on their toes. Not putting any names in the frame for that mind you 🙂

    I can see us going without any major signings this window (wouldn't be surprised if more younger player deals were announced).  Just get this sense they want to see what the team can do as players return and drive competition for places.
