If we need experience + a winger who can play CAM + someone who is an effective player in the final third, we should be looking at Sporting's Pedro Gonçalves.

Mason Greenwood

The one area of the club that has maintained its success since the Clearlake takeover is the Women's team. If they sign Greenwood then that will be over.

Could Jayden Sancho do?

I know the Man Utd Sancho is pretty crap, but if Poch could work with him could he do something here.

Man utd need to sell to raise funds for purchases. He is PL ready and would still fit in with the pecking order when Nkunku returns. It's a gamble but could work out well. Looking at the Sterling we are seeing under Poch, I think he could definitely develop Sancho.

We already have enough decent players for Pochettino to work with and improve. Really don't want us to sign anyone else now so it's a No to Sancho, No to Greenwood and No to any other sh*t Utd players............!

Trying to think of a promising player that took the step up and failed but then recovered and went on to have a great career at another top team.  Diego Forlan is the best I could come up with.  There’s probably more but I don’t think there’s many.  Feels like the English Joao Felix.

Maybe a loan with an option to buy ? If you could get the Dortmund version then happy days !

The United version has 9 PL goals in 57 appearances (41 starts + 16 sub) across two seasons. Not great, but that would still be more PL career goals than anyone currently in our squad LOL

He has made it public knowledge that the club are looking for another attacking midfielder. We will be getting someone in.

I'd much prefer to wait. Resign Maatsen and then go all in on Ivan Toney for January/next summer.

He'd add some goals and PL experience at the point of our attack. He can mentor Jackson or play alongside him.

Then it's time to bed down and let the squad grow together under Poch.

Add a GK next summer unless Sanchez balls out an surprises us.

I actually like this idea but I feel we have left it too late now, and we will get ripped off for any player at this point. We are desperately in need of creators, and he is one I would have here along with Eze. Pote has an €80m release clause which we would have to activate this late in the window, Palace would also demand £80m for Eze.

My issue is why did we leave it till late in the window to realise we needed some creativity in the team, we knew this from the time Poch was appointed. It also brings into the question spending £160m on DMs when you can’t open up teams. The West Ham game when we were playing against 10 men for most of the 2nd half is a prime example.

West Ham was mostly down to Carney's injury, until then we were opening them well. We certainly have more creativity than last season, but they are made of glass.

If only there were a CFC crystal ball that predicted Nkunku's and more recently Carney's injuries.

Salah. KDB.

I would consider them as not given an opportunity rather than a failure.  KDB made just 3 Premier League and 9 appearances in total for us and Mo 13/19, most of them where probably as a sub too.  Both over 2 seasons compared to Sancho 57/81 over the same 2 seasons.

Bit of a shame he has struggled in the PL. Terrific for Dortmund in a very settled system with a role to play. Out of the BL, into the fire. Arrived under Ole who wouldn't know a system if it bit him. Then Rangnick who, well, I don't know. I don't think he ever did. Then Carrick, now ten Hag. Confidence destroyed.
