Also, Aaron Anselmino [19] will remain at Boca Juniors until June 2025 despite Chelsea having the option to recall him in January.  AND Aaron will most likely go on loan in the summer. But we do need a CB - maybe in January?

If we're so wary of ffp/psr, we won't even touch him. His wages alone are 350k+/wk without winning a big title.

Barcelona will find a way to get him registered, they always do. I don't think there is any space for Olmo either. He can play left wing, right wing or attacking midfield, but his best position is attacking midfield. We have Palmer and Felix already and Paez arriving next season.

La Liga has unregistered Olmo from Barca, they had until the 31st of December to show that they had the economic solvency to renew his licence and the paperwork shown by Barcelona to La Liga has not convinced them. He'd be a very good addition to the team, an AM with goal and technical quality. And it would help to sink Barca a bit more. I have heard that Arsenal are interested in him and it would be improve them quite a lot, imo, so I hope that they don't get him. Unfortunately, he's 26, so older than what our board likes to buy.

An attacking midfielder who gets the odd goal now and again. At least that would replace the second goalkeeper on the bench!

If we sign anyone in January I hope it is properly focused on need rather than 'seems like an opportunity to get a cheap deal'.

Another player to play behind a striker is about as needed as a creche in a Catholic church.  It will only end in tears.

I’d say that he’s better than Enzo and has more goals, 6 in 15 games this season so far.

I don't expect us to make signings this January, maybe some more youth players but not first team ones.

Anselmino may well be the defensive reinforcement. Could be we see Lesley and/or Andrey Santos recalled to give us midfield depth, and DD Fofana recalled to compete with Jackson.

The accounts are worked out for the year, we have no shirt sponsor, and have a huge FFP outlay as it is.

Sales like Carney, Chilwell, Casadei etc may happen, may be loans, but that would benit mainly, sales and loans imo.

Italian media have linked Tomori with a return here, apparently Milan happy to make a deal over him.

Though we would only consider it if we could sell Disasi. Good way of putting a disclaimer on it for when it does not happen.

Italian media also linking him with Spurs. It's his agent touting him around because he's out of favour at Milan. Better suited to Serie A than the PL.

Not in Jan cos it'll cost a fortune, but we should go all out for Gykores or however you spell it. Man is a goal machine.

We need a top quality striker and a top defender I think to really push on.

- You would need to lose Felix & hypothetically Madueke to make another winger consider coming here. I agree though that we need one, and would take a Gordon/Kudus in the summer 

- I think Tah is either Bayern/Barca bound. We need a quality CB though, and I am not  getting caught up in the older experienced argument. A bigger problem for me is we have 10 CBs on our books, which is ridiculous and needs trimming down to 4-5 before signing any other one in the summer. Veiga, Colwill, Fofana, Badishille, Disasi, Josh, Tosin, Chalobah, Gilchrist & Anselminho is way too many.

It’s so annoying we’ve spent like 80m on Mudryk. It would have been enough to land Rafael Leao, Kvaratskheila or Nico Williams.

60 + 25 on bonuses which will most likely fail to be met. And while I do agree we could have done better than Mudryk, those are all players with +- 6/7 goal/assist combined this season, not really that outstanding or worth the 80m anyway. Truth is any signing come with a major risk, and we just can't be sure Mudryk's replacement will fare much better.

Can't say much for the other two as I only watch Milan matches when I have the time, but Rafael Leão is a "flop" in the same breath as Felix, skilled, pacey, but lacking something between his eyes and heart. 

Year left on his deal in Summer. Throw 40M at Palace for Guehi. Should be able to form a good partnership with Colwill, is better than our other options, Fofana's stuck in the medical room and his experience at captain should help bring some leadership to the team.

The team is set up for David to flourish, not sure how he'd do in the prem. Not convinced he's the level we need to push us on either
