God I hope Monaco are that stupid.

Considering out policy of only offering players over 30 1 year contracts I can't see Sagna wanting to join us or us abandoning that rule just to bring him in.

The only players (from memory) we have signed in the last two years that were over 25 were Eto'o and Schwarzer.

 

Neither were going to be nailed on first choice and both only had 1 year deals whilst our loaned players continued their development to (potentially) replace them at the end of the season (Lukaku and Courtois). 

 

The idea of wanting Sangna when we already have Ivan and Dave doesn't make sense to me. 

Ivan and Dave are both very talented footballers who have earned their places in our starting 11, however, I really don't want to see Dave playing left back forever and a day.

He reminds me alot of Ben Arfa a player who i like alot, He signed for Lille but didn't actually play a game for them and then went to Marseille in the summer.Very fast loves to dribble and left footed.Not seen enough of him to say if he's as good as the hype but alot of people on Twitter seem to rate him though.

So that's Varane, Imbula, and Thauvin we are after in the summer.
