Agreed, if he replaces Drogs then fair enough, but we could have got him for 19mill when he had a release clause in the summer, we decided not to do so. Why change our minds now?

How would people feel about bringing suarez to chelsea? I am not saying it would even happen, but at the moment he's been underwhelming at barca and just cannot seem to settle. I would be all for playing him wide left and hazard as the #10 behind costa. Although suarez is more comfortable playing centrally, he could still be very dangerous from wide left cutting in like he did for liverpool on occasions. It's hypothetical I know, but if we had the money in the summer, it would be worth testing barca's resolve.

Bitterness for the bite on Brano aside, I'd have no complaints if Suarez joined us - for me it would need to happen next summer or never though as he's what 27 now? I can't see it happening however, yes he's been underwhelming but he seems the archetypal Barcelona player and can see him eventually coming good for them.

I do not think we need Varane. Cahill, jt, ivanovic and zouma are sufficient. If we stay with the same formation we need 1 midfielder, if it's a central powerhouse we can move fabregas to number 10 and oscar to the right. Alternatively we go for a top right winger and just drop Willian. The other option would be just to buy another back up striker and play a 4-4-2 like this.

Reus would be awesome, just what we need. Not only would having him supply another creative source but it would also give hazard a lot more room to play. Not holding any hopes for him though, looks like he's going real Madrid. Varane would be a good addition, but it would mean dropping someone and at this stage and I say we're pretty set at cb, not saying he wouldn't be an improvement but cb is not a priority for us.

Don't really see what the fuss is with either of them to be honest.

 

Stones looks decent but so would Ake, Zouma, etc in that team, especially when your competition is Distin and Alcaraz. I'll hold off until he's proven more than just a couple of good games.

 

Barkley is just about good enough for Everton as it is, far too inconsistent. What was the price on him again? £45m? City are welcome to him, they have the players to carry him and he'll fit their style of play better truth be told.  

Don't want Barkley personally and certainly not for certainly not for anything over £25m.

Stones looks alright but Everton have a piss poor defense and so it's hard to tell for sure, rather than take a gamble I would prefer we focused on developing Zouma who is looking a great defender already.

Not sure there are any English players I would want right now in truth as I don't think any would improve on what we already have.

I'd like to see Bamford in our squad next season though.
