Have to say it looks painful in the replays but you can't really tell anything from a video. You can't see anything snap especially ligaments so at best his knee is sore from it all and healed in a couple of weeks...i hope.

Just unfortunate for the boy as everything he's done so far has been grade A.

Strong chance it was a ligament strain, he wouldn't be walking about with a tare or able to fly for that matter due to swelling. He has probably gone just to be safe and if he get's the all clear will join up with the squad in the US.

I think Jose see's KDB as having a cirtain x-factor so probably doesnt want to take any risks either

It was a freak accident, he just landed awkwardly. It wasnt a 'high risk' shot

youre always at risk of injury when torres is shooting... unless you happen to be stood in the middle of the goal, then there's no chance

Seriouslty though people must see where i am coming from, but looking at the shot again it was a lot less of risk than i thought.

If he would've tried a bicycle kick and landed on his head, I may agree with you. I just think it was a freak accident and hopefully not a major problem for the player.

Everyone wants to impress Jose, but you might have to wonrry about some of the young, potential loanees (wouldn't consider KDB part of that) possibly over extending themselves in a friendly. Guys like Chalobah, Omeruo, Kalas, etc. I dunno, random thought.
