I agree with Hazard, it would be better for KDB to leave so he can get game time. I just dont see him playing other than in the cups. It is a shame because he clearly has talent but there must be a reason why Jose wont have him in his team. Maybe its something in training he doesnt like.

I disagree with that because what those teams technically do is press from the front as a team, they press and hound you around as a pack but you will hardly ever find a Robben, Reus or Ribery playing as wing backs. Fully support Jose but still curious about the instructions the players were given half time against Hull (our finest Half this season and I can remember many people suggesting we were conserving some energy for Bayern), our players played freely and expressed themselves but seems they have been shackled. Personally belief to get the most out of this set of players, you have to allow them to express themselves on the pitch and not worry too much about the opponents game. Why collect Ferraris if you are going to be driving them off-road?

as far as i remember jose was raving about the first half display after the game so i highly doubt that he tried to stop them playing so freely. i think we just looked a lot better than we were because it was hull's first game back in the prem and maybe they weren't ready for the step up. it probably raised expectations to an unrealistic level

I'm gutted for Kevin, I like the look of him and think he will be top player somewhere so would prefer he stayed and fought for a place, that said if I were him I'd be looking elswhere as he has his place for Belgium at stake.

 

He looked good in the Hull game and in pre season but I remember in the UTD game he got a smack in the nose and looked like the game was passig him by by the time he was subbed, I don't know if the elbow to the nose had any impact on his performance but a few games out and his limited minutes since haven't been impressive.

 

There is so much pressure in those positions with the competition it must be tough to get out and play your natural game without over trying and tightening up.

 

Jose obviously has asked more of him in training and only he will know if he thinks the boy is taking notice, I really hope he is but if he must leave I hope its a loan and doesn't involve an option to buy.

He could play in CM as well, he's quite versatile. We could try Ramires and KDB partnership for a few games and see how that goes. Lamps hasn't exactly been great recently, and Mikel is rubbish.

KDB played there (out of position) at times for Bremen and did alright. Wouldn't hurt to try him but I'd prefer to see Oscar there.

I like Hazard he is a very good player for us but these kind of comments are not welcome and he should focus more on football than managing the club,we have Jose for that.

I think the sooner we give up the possibility of Oscar playing at CM the better, it's unfortunate but it's just not gunna happen.

Sadly this is exactly what has happened. Jose just doesn't seem to rate him. Loan him out back to the Bundesliga and let's hope he comes back raring to go next season.

What would be the point? He'd just come back and not play again.

I think if mourinho wants players who are hardworking and track back, then he needs to start buying those kind of players. We have a group of players who, over the last few years, have been allowed to play at a comfortable pace game after game with no change. They are obviously not used to it and who knows whether they ever will get used to it. We need to start scouting hardworking players and replacing some of our lazy existing ones. I feel the only one player we could actually allow to free roam would be mata, the others just never seem bothered to work hard for the team.

Would like to see him tried further back to take over from Lampard.  I don't know exactly what Hazard has said, or to whom, but he is right based on appearances so far.  If he (KDB) wants to be in the Belgium squad he needs to be playing more regular.  Hazard could be saying something along the lines of "Chelsea have a deep squad, so..." a lot of these things can be taken out of context

And I don't think  Mourinho is punish Hazard at all, it was a fair answer he gave. If KDB wants to make Belgium's world cup suad/team and isn't going to get regular playing time for us then he might seek to move elsewhere either on loan or permanently.

                           My advice to Hazard is to keep his mouth shut and avoid the wrath of Mourinho.

Would be sad to see such a young promising player leave this early on in his career, we have a tendency to avoid giving players a chance such as nemanja matic, who has clearly turned into a star. A loan move to atletico would be good if possible, they lack depth and would be great experience in such a successful team for a talented KDB.

Sturridge is 24 now, not really young and promising so much now.

 

Despite all the hype he only has 9 caps for England after breaking through at City about 6 years ago now. 

 

He's a good striker yes but for me personally not exceptional and I don't think we made a big mistake in allowing him to leave.
