Kevin De Bruyne

after Jose's comments today, is everyone still convinced KDB wil leave? im not sure Jose wants rid, i think he wants to keep him and try to develop him further. could just be a ploy to try and raise his transfer fee, but for me it sounded like Jose would be reluctant to let him go

Yes i still think he will go. Jose is just playing the game and trying to get the price up. I dont think KDB wants to play for us anymore so when that happens the player usually gets his way and leaves.

Almost sounded like a dig to me, questioning KDB's mental strength to cope with expectations of playing at a "big" club.

Could be a motivational thing or could be that he isn't what Jose wants from one of this players.

Well not sure if it is funny. DeBruyne is leaving for not playing and we've just recalled Kakuta, who plays the same spot. Isn't it all the same if the player who is not playing is named Kakuta instead of DeBruyne. Same result. I have no idea why we took Kakuta back...

Most likely because he's hardly playing at Vitesse as it is and now we have given them Traore he will get even less playing time so its pointless him being there same with Hutchinson.Cuevas isn't playing either but he needs to be there for a work permit.Kakuta recently said he wants to leave so im expecting him to be sold, maybe a buyback like the Jeffrey Bruma deal.I would expect a lot of interest fro Ligue 1 clubs for him.

Interesting that he wants out. World Cup year is one thing, but let's be honest and say is Belgium's depth really that strong that he will miss the squad? I wouldn't think so.

Hope he stays I think he has a contribution to make. FA Cup might be the start of it for him. Perhaps that was where Jose's comments were directed.

Jose hinted there it has been difficult for the young man to adapt for the ultra competitive livestyle. DeBruyne seems like a smart young man and I think he is able to assess his own situation well. He wants to go out and i'd give him his wish. No use keeping him no matter how good prospect he is. We'll make profit of him which is something we seldom do...

It would be stupid to sell for anything less or not close to £25mil. I'm almost sure he will be starting for the Belgium national team in the World Cup this summer, wich will most likely raise his value even more.

But teams know he isnt playin for us and wants to leave. I think 17 million would be mnore than fair. Even 15 is a decent profit on him.

He's still young, you can't expect every 20 year old to come in and make an instant impact like the likes of Oscar and Hazard have done. Although I am almost certain he will leave now, maybe the 2nd half of the season out on loan at a club like Everton, where he's got a friend from the national team & chelsea, and playing some regular games in the PL would help him a lot.

Yes, he could use a loan spell for a PL club until summer. I don't think we should fold so easily everytime we have a unhappy player. £15mil-£17mil is to much of a steal for a 22 year old, who has a starting spot in Belgium national team and who has scored/assisted half of their group stage goals. My prediction is that he will be worth £25mil-£30mil after the World Cup.

i liked him in pre season. tried different things from the norm from freekicks and was an excellent passer. I think he's a rabbit in the headlights atm and its understandable when you have to fight against world class players to get a game. only jose can give him the confidence he needs to know he can be a success and if he leaves he'll never be the player he could be, quitting when it got tough and he'll always feel lesser to other players h's playing against. needs more mental strength

I thought KDB would be a great signing but although his chances have been limited on the few occasions he's played he's done nothing.

Playing for someone like us you've got to take every chance no matter how few and far between.

Jose is watching the guy each day in training and I'm thinking he must being showing very little to convince him.

The moaning to the press etc which is no doubt coming from his agent is starting to wind me up as well. It's time for him to go. In my opinion he just doesn't seem cut out to play for us and doesn't appear to want to knuckle down and prove Mourinho wrong.

I've mulled over this for a while, but i've finally come to the conclusion that he really won't be missed if we do sell him. We have brazil's No. 10, we have the best player on the Belgian team, our little magician from spain, a german international winger, and Willian, all fighting for his position. All of whom are better than him, and all of whom are young enough to improve even more. He's surplus to requirements. He wants to go back to germany, so we could use him as a great makeweight for a central midfielder, which the bundesliga is full of. Lars Bender, Gundogan, Gustavo, Kroos etc. Plenty of options.

You'll go far.

he has a face I wouldn't tire of slapping.

if his instagram is anything to go by, then his attitude is most probably in the toilet. loads of pictures of him throwing gang signs, "poppin bottles in da club", and hanging out with rappers and models. I get the distinct impression he rates himself highly, and mourinho has said as much recently, commenting that his attitude and willingness to work hard and adapt to the challenge of retaining a starting position chelsea is lacking.

if the £25 million being quoted in the press has any truth to it I'd absolutely snap any suitor's hand off.

he just strikes me as a self important and arrogant little sh*t.

My god he looks younger than ever!  Does he ever smile?  I guess he thinks he looks cooler if he doesn't!  But I think the photos are pretty typical for a lad of his age aren't they?

haha yeah know what you mean!

the thing is I just feel he should focus more on his game than posing in clubs on instagram. its indicative of the comments made by TSO regarding his attitude.. I think he looks like a little toad!!
