We're at home, so the pressure's on us.

I wish I was feeling more optimistic about this match, but I'm not. We just can't finish teams off with goals and Liverpool are scoring for fun. Or at least, Suarez and Sterling are.

Imagine going down 3 nil. coming back at half time, bring it back to 3-3, THEN Torres scores the winner at 90+. id jizz all over the place

id rather not go 3 down!

Just read that moody article from Sky Sports, what a complete load of w**k. Injuries have f**k all to do with his inability to score goals. He runs around more now than he ever did at his last two clubs and uses that as a smother up for his lack of goals. Sorry but im not accepting the injury excuse at all. Lets all hope that he woke up this morning and has managed to motivate himself, because a motivated torres is a dangerous torres. Its tough watching him week in week out doing this thing he does because my son thinks he is the best thing ever and its f**king sad watching him get upset when i slate the life out of torres. So mr Fernando T go out there today and do it for all the people who still refuse to have a bad word said about you. And if you cant do it for them then do it for me because i HATE losing to Liverpool.

We've been waiting on the "real" Torres showing up for ages and I think we all know it's not going to happen. Although that goal at the Nou Camp, could you value that one at £50m given it helped send us to the Champions League final we would go on to win? Perhaps not, and I don't think Roman believes he's gotten value for money where he sits every week, but he is a strange enigma that's for sure.

We've gone through several mangers and changed our style of play with different personnel and each time we've said, "This will be the return of the real Torres", and each time we've been proven wrong. It's sad to see how such a once brilliant striker has turned into a shadow of his former self, because in his Liverpool days he was immense.

Would I love him to rattle in a hat trick today? Of course I would.

Will he? No, but if he scores the winner in a 1-0 win for us it'd be just as sweet.

A lot of folks will point out the run from the sideline.

You should remember the defender he pushed the ball past had done his hammy and went off immediately afterwards.

He won a league game against them, sure. But don't forget we beat them in the FA cup two years ago.

Havent forgotten that but he didnt play at all in that match :)

Blimey, he didn't really play today, did he? Got on for five minutes and that was cos Eto'o got injured.

Missed a great chance to score, though.

He played really well today and deserved the bit of luck for his goal. He's always at his best running at defenders and taking them on. He's definitely lost a little pace but his acceleration is great and he can pull away from a defender quite easily when he really puts his mind to it.

Good effort Nando, now practice your shooting

It wasn't the winning goal, since we beat them 3-0, however, it was that all important breakthrough goal, so well done, Nando. He worked hard for it and deserved it, too. It says a lot that no Chelsea striker scored an away league goal the whole of 2013, and then Torres scores one the very first day of the New Year. Hope that's a sign of things to come.

Just wish Arsenal and City would stop winning their games.

Two goals from two strikers in two games. Who needs Suarez, who wants Aguero?

Now some like Torres but some also like Eto'o. Which one's best? Only one way to find out Jose….......... Fight!
