As far as I understand it AC Milan have effectively signed Torres on a free transfer from us but it was done as a loan for whatever reason (FFP reasons would be my guess) and I don't think there is any break clause or the like on the agreement.

The recent Torres rumours with him being linked with moves back to Liverpool or Atletico Madrid are probably being generated by AC who are trying to drum up some interest in the player because the loan isn't working out like they expected and now they don't want to continue paying the excessive wages of a player they have no intentions of playing (sound familiar?).

Jose has already said it's not going to happen, nothing to worry about. Our books are far too fragile to be accommodating expensive passengers who offer nothing

I think its actually just paper talk. As sh*t as Liverpool are up front why would they waste all that money on wages taking Torres back?

Torres will see out this season at least at Milan and then who knows. But as long as someone is paying him, he wont retire.

I don't think there's anything in it either but just wanted reassurances that Torres cannot come back if we don't want him to.

I honestly do no want him anywhere near this club ever again. Not even at Cobham for any pre-season stuff. JUST STAY THE F*** AWAY FERNANDO.

You can, IF he was to change clubs Chelsea would have to agree to it.

Although we have given him a free transfer, it has gone down as a 2 year loan deal due to FFP. So IF Torres was to move (which I doubt he will this season) Chelsea would have to be seen to get involved and "loan" him else where.

As long as it's not here, I couldn't care less where he's playing. He gave us 1 or 2 great moments, and played a part (albeit minor) in some big trophy wins, which I'm grateful for, but the man stole a living (a f**king massive living) 90% of the time he was here.

I can't believe they would want him back. They are a top club and need an actual decent striker not a washed up has been.

Maybe just for sentiments and marketing values really....

But seriously I think the only coach who can make him better than he usually is, is Simeone. This is his final straw. I can only wish him the best.
