For 18 million I would drive him to his new destination myself.

na, give him a fiver for the bus and that'll do

did torres have a shot today ? i remember he had a header on goal, did he shoot with his feet at all ? genuinely cant remember

This thread seems to be going on for ever and quite frankly its doing my nut in. (although, I can't help myself in checking it) This question applies to everyone and If you are backing Torres or not at this moment in time is irrelevant.

If we could get £18 million for him in January would you take it?

No changing of the fee I have provided. Just a simple answer please.

Yes or No?

I would but very curious on what the overall consensus will be.

Yes.

He was hardly alone in that, the service to him was terrible, we didn't draw because one player didn't turn up. It's a team game and most of them didn't look up for it today not just Torres....

I would keep him until the end of the season and then see where we are. If we were to sell up in january we would have to sign 2 strikers because I can see sturridge going aswell. I really like torres and will defend him when it is right to do so but performances like today make it hard. Like I said before wednesday night is a HUGE night for him and if he dosn't show up he could be out of the team for a while!

not getting into it. i think the views expressed already can respond. seems opinion on torres is finally changing

but did he shoot at all today ? i cant recall, genuinley curious

He had that header which was saved easily, I don't recall any other shots.

Say what you like about Sturridge, but he when the ball is there to be hit, he hits it, and if you don't shoot you certianly won't score.

Getting into what? There is no point singling out 1 player when 6 or 7 had just as poor a game.

Some people find it easy to target Torres whenever Chelsea fail which is pretty short sighted and bordering on stupidity.

on his day and sadly we have'nt seen many FT can do the business and he has become handy with assists

problem is bigger than just him

what mugs running a prem club (not RDM, SE etc. they dont run the 1st team really) would let the experienced goalscoring striker count

in the squad go down to 1, I know there's Danny but like he said on Weds hes only had 5 starts in the middle in this his

3rd season. You would expect Danny to start in the CL after today, but he won't lets face it AVB finally got sacked after

his Portugese interview slagging FT. Torres is the owner's signing/ boy and until the owner tires of him he's gonna start every match

in the prem & CL.

the persons running the transfer policy need to think long & hard as RDM has no options on the bench as subs or even to put a little bit of competitive pressure on FT

so were stuck with this sh*t situation up front unlike as mentioned above our main rivals MUFC & MCFC

This is why I'm not defending him today. He just dosn't seem to want to shoot even when he is in a decent position with no team mates around. The service to him today wasn't there but there were still times when he got the ball in a decent position but looked for pass when a shot is the better option. You don't shoot you don't score simples.

This is also another reason why I still believe he can work at chelsea. It is just a simple thing like this that needs to be changed. He should know himself but if he dosn't then Rdm or one of his team mates need to tell him to just unleash one when the chance arises. He actually has a decent shot on him. The shot against villa at home last year that nearly tipped the goal over when it hit the bar is a perfect example of this.

SHOOT NANDO!SHOOT!

Oooh the importance of the humble comma! "Shoot Nando!" does not mean the same as "Shoot, Nando!"

Though I suspect there are a few that would be happy with either...

Totally agree, like I said before at least Studge always looks lively, think he should get a run n the team now

I think the majority on here would rather nando shot than him shooting!

Correct however the problem with Studge is even when the ball isn't there to be hit, he hits it anyway so while he will score goals he oten ignores team mates in better positions.

I would still go with Sturridge as the main CF as i feel he will improve with regular game time as opposed to Torres who i just can't see getting better.

If he keeps on shooting like he did Wednesday, he wont get many to his name either.

He still scored one more than Nando did this weekend ;)

Nando didn't have 120 minutes to do so...

It's over. My patience, like so many else's, has run out. I freely confess I didn't want the transfer at the time and every worry I had has been justified, but Roman gets what Roman wants and it has wasted us two years, 50mln pounds and caused us to miss out on one or two suitable strikers to fill Drogba's boots.

I have a lot of sympathy for Fernando and I wish him all the best. I will never question his hard work, but this is torture for him and it is torture for us. It needs to end.

And how many times has Sturridge started this season compared to Torres? Can hardly have a go at Sturridge when he barely plays. Also dont forget Studge scored 16 goals from the wing last season im nit even sure if Nandi has scored 16 goals for us

I never had a go at Studge but pointed out he took over 90 mins to look decent.

Both are n

Both are not the answer to our problems IMO and we are going to have to bring in a natural goalscorer sooner rather than later.

No idea who as I don't see Falcao coming here when clubs like Real, Juve and PSG are sniffing around.
