Not surprised he is been spoken about as being tired.

He’s played a huge amount of football over the past 2 seasons with the World Cup wedged in between…he’s not the kind of player we can or have rested either so Jose has had him start the vast majority of games…especially since we don’t have Andre anymore so he’s basically our only left sided winger just now.

Hopefully he has enough in his tank to push us over the line.

Oh, and that c**t Burley can't resist a dig at us (in the vid that runs when the page is opened) I really detest that poisonous twat.

He has just signed a lengthy new contract with us, so I think those fears are pretty unfounded.

I get that but consider this A) he is young B) the type of guys interested have no problem triggering release clauses, hence toy ours bale rumoured to leave with what 4 years left after being bought for 80 million, so yea hazard wound leave tomorrow but in a couple of years if we underwhelm I see it as a distinct possibility....just my thoughts

I know Hazard is eligible but he shouldn't win Young POTY. He won it six(!) years ago in France! The award should be about a young player with a breakthrough season i.e. Kane.

Fair enough didn't know that but if he wanted to go and Real Madrid type transfer fees offered I doubt we would force him to stay..and to be fair you can't blame a player who has the ability to be a legend from following the path that will get him there..right now I feel he caries the team sometimes and that can't be reassuring for him

Eden Hazard's been wonderful this season but Kane has come from way back to be a prolific Premier League scorer. Youth and romance swing it.

I wonder when someone will come out with a Photoshop of Hazard in chains, dragging the Chelsea coach along with him. He's been bearing too much of the weight for too long but showing no signs of letting up. Consistent all season. POTY.

While I get what you are saying we have to remember others like Fabregas, Costa, Dave and Terry have all made huge contributions to us this season.

In the second half of the season Hazard has been one of the only ones to keep the form going.

A fantastic player

First half of the season, Fabregas, Costa, Matic, Azpi, Terry were all excellent. The whole was on song. Like you say though, Costa and Fabregas have been hot and cold for a long time now. JT keeping it going too, and Azpi (bar that wobbly patch with his injury)' but Hazard has been good-excellent all season. It's him the team look to to win the game.

Yeah everything seems to come down our left because he's the real danger man.

It causes us problems as teams know we ain't all that great on the right side which means Hazard has little room for manoeuvre.

Running out of superlatives for Hazard now.

 

He is incredible but looks like he still has a another gear. If he was more selfish he might gave bagged a hat-trick today (which as skipper of my fantasy football team I would have welcomed), but I love how he always tries to bring others into the game. 

 

Also love the way he is so economical with the ball - always trying to make something happen but rarely giving the ball away cheaply. 

 

Whatever happens between now and the end of the season, he will rightly be crowned player of the season but that should be for the PL as well as CFC.

Ive never seen anyone with a better penalty technique in a Chelsea shirt, he's so good at waiting for the keeper to move, he's that good at it that he takes the piss and just strokes it down the middle.
