so final rooney bid on tuesday and hopefully our squad will be complete. if not, eto'o as a fall back option. ba and moses leaving either on loan or transfer. Jose has a hell of a job keeping 6 world class attacking mids happy!

He would of signed and the contract will be subject to a work permit otherwise why announce it because another club could make him a better offer like what happened to spurs. Maybe im wrong but I just think that it would be illogical to announce this if it was that easy for a player to still find another club

While it's always good to have great players at your team it's a very questionable transfer, but I will of course back him all the way, although he's got a lot to prove.

Great news the guy is class and will fit in straight away. Gives Jose more options in formation and shape.

I have a horrible feeling that this spells the end for Mata, I hope to god I'm wrong, but it's the feeling I have in the pit of my stomach.

Sky Sports News reporting a 25million fee. That makes this transfer a bit easier to swallow.

Really really odd, when you thin we could have spent thats money on a top class DM which we could do with but instead we got another attacking midfielder where we are over stocked right now. There must be some thinking behind it, Jose and the board must have a plan to fit all these players in somehow. I just can't see it. If we lose Moses because of it then we also lose a homegrown spot. Where does that leave the likes of KDB? Will be be dropped deeper? It's just unbalanced right now in my opinion.
