November 14, 201312 yr That is all he seems (sitting on the bench) to be doing at the moment, now that swarez is back. Now that Suarez and Coutinho are back Rodgers is tinkering with his formation to suit both players. Playing Suarez alongside Sturridge with Coutinho in the hole puts Moses in a spot. I doubt he has the tactical discipline to fit into Rodger's current system. Unless Rodgers switches to another formation it appears Moses will be confined to the bench.

If he is going to be on the bench all the time it makes you wonder why they even bothered to take him on loan, unless it was about adding numbers that is. But from our point of view i don't think we see him as anyone with a future at the club or else we wouldn't have loaned him out to a club that wasn't going to play him much.
January 27, 201412 yr Rodgers saying/hinting Liverpool want to make Moses deal permanent. I wouldn't really object if it happens. I think he was actually better for us than he's been for them. We have no space for him. £10m and he's your's.

We have no space for him. £10m and he's your's. When I've watched him for Liverpool he has been pretty poor to be honest, could be partly down to lack of match-sharpness. Surprised if Rodgers really wants him permanently. Agree that anything around 10m and he'd be off.
January 27, 201412 yr Be crazy if they offered anywhere near £10 million for him. Would show they are desperate with lack of options in the window.
January 28, 201412 yr Shame people forget that he was a good squad player for us last season and had a good pre-season.Mourinho said in the last press conference that he wants 6 attacking mids so it will be between Moses,Thorgan,Piazon,Traore for the 6th spot.I have no problems with us keeping him and i think we will, the other 3 are easier to loan out and Moses is older.
January 28, 201412 yr After missing out in Salah maybe Mosses is their plan B? Not sure why, they have youngsters like Suso who are better. Didn't want Moses in the first place, he did a good job in fairness to the guy but I would rather the game time he got was given to a player like Piazon.
January 28, 201412 yr I'd rather have brought back Piazon than bought Salah personally.I dont want Piazon back here and being 6th choice and not playing.
January 28, 201412 yr We have a couple of young players coming along but Moses is a decent squad player like mentioned above, besides its not like he's old, he's still 23 with alot of PL experience, he can improve and the few chances we gave him here he payed us back with a few good goals (Late goal against shakhtar)
January 28, 201412 yr With Jose here we won't see Moses back. I don't think he'll become a workhorse overnight. Not a dig at Jose or Moses but we just saw Mata leave for same reasons Moses is on loan. I think it'll be closer to £10m if they want him permanently. I know we would let him leave for less but I sincerely think that is his worth. He is still young.

Who knows, Rodgers clearly wants more options on the wing and with Salah going to us he might opt to make Moses move permanent just to have the options he wants. They're going to have masses of money to invest so they might find Moses is within their price range especially if we do our usual trick of unloading players for a fraction of what we originally paid for them.

January 28, 201412 yr If hes better then why has been loaned out to Almeira? Last time i heard he was very well at Almeira to be fair.If we were to sell Moses i think Martinez at Everton would be interested in him after he had him at Wigan.

Piazon is a poor fit as a winger in Mourinhos scheme, him and Salah would in no way be in direct competition. Piazon is going to be in competition with Oscar and while he is at the club, Piazon will be the second choice for the #10 role and would be better of elsewere.
May 9, 201412 yr Mission Accomplished Agent Moses! Return to base!! I'll carry him back on my shoulders if it means getting rid. He must have a thing about Palace. He missed an open goal at anfield early on in the season. To be fair he was a whole 3 yards out.
