Victor Moses

i'd hope van ginkel stayed. liked the look of him in pre season

I like him too but I suppose it comes down to how likely is he to get game time with Matic, Fabregas and Ramires all ahead of him and also Mikel in there, that's five players for two positions unless we start playing 4-3-3 but even then you would imagine Oscar is still going to be picked.

I can see consistent game time for Van Ginkel may be more important than being a squad player for us. Also think the same could be said of Salah.

Also, can we change the title of the post please?

I'd love for PSG to make an outrageous offer for Oscar. I can see PSG and Monaco being very useful for us to sell players at inflated values. It must have been how clubs viewed us a decade ago.

On Moses, good luck to him. Hopefully he does well and we can recoup most of our outlay back.

Should have just sold him tbh

I dont see how this benefits Chelsea a great deal. I hope that we have at least got his yearly FFP cost offset with the loan fee and his full wages paid. Same hopefully with Marin, I cant see anyone buying him and hopefully he can move on without affecting us in the long term.

Id probably have kept Moses around, hes not a top player but he'd make a decent squad player and is relatively cheap in waged and FFP Amortisation, he is free in HG terms too. I cant see how Salah is any better or worse than him and he takes up a Foreign player place. I cant see the strategy behind Moses at Chelsea anymore than Sinclair and Rodwell at City, it seems like the PL are happy for big clubs to ruin young talented players futures just to meet an arbitrary rules set. How many young players are going to stagnate at a big club following the bright lights when they could grow and thrive at smaller clubs and have a long term future as a quality player who meets their potential.

£9m on Moses and £7m on Marin. Not good purchases. We will just loan them out until their contacts expire I imagine.

Looking at the bigger picture though we've speculated on a lot of players recently. We'll lose on them two but we've hit the lottery with Lukaku and De Bruyne. Hopefully we get some of these players making an impact In the first team MVG looks to be up to it.

Joined Chelsea as a stepping to Farcalona !! .. Arrogant little tosser.

Never saw or heard that before, who the f**k does he think he is.. where's the 'w**ker' smiley ?

Could probably make the C team.

I think he is trying to blow his own horn and talk up his talent. I think he is fairly aware he will not get many chances on this Chelsea team. There are better MF and Winger options. Perhaps its a way to get himself sold and out the door?

  • 1 month later...

Victor Moses with another assist for Peter Crouch, his third assist of the season. He has been delivering some great balls in the Stoke matches that I have watched.

Edit: And is it possible for a mod to change the name of this article to "Loan to Liverpool\Stoke City" or just "Victor Moses loans"? Thanks.
