Victor Moses

He was also Chelsea's best player in the Europa League a couple of seasons back, so I say he did more than OK. Defnitely wide squad material.

I don't agree with that, yes he played well in that run but I wouldn't say he was our best player in that tournament.

As we saw with Mata, if you do not offer enough defensively Jose will not keep you around long.

As Moses is home grown and a threat in front of goal I would sooner see a trio of him, Hazard and one of Willian or Oscar starting for us.

We have good options this season imo for the attacking midfield position, although I would not be surprised if one of Cuadrado, Moses or Traore left, most likely Moses.

I think the "tracking back" ideal is a bit OTT to be honest. I don't mind certain players doing it, but to expect it from almost every player on the team is a little much and would end up negating our offensive strengths. We struggle enough to create when the likes of hazard go missing or don't play, so i think jose needs to cut certain attacking players slack if they're defensively poor; our game shouldn't just be centered around a defensive mindset all the time.

If we are to challenge the best teams in Europe we need a far better player than Moses, Salah or Cuadrado. Willian has his spot cemented just now but he himself lacks the goals and assists Hazard provides at the other side.

Moses will occupy the full back more than willian does, as the full back wont know where moses will go with the ball. willian is far more predictable as he generally will stop on the ball, and often lay it back to ivanovic. uncertainty kills defenders, and moses will make defenders uncertain. that in itself makes him the best option on the right wing, at least until cuadrado proves himself

I think he has had a very positive pre season for us. He takes on players, he has put in some dangerous crosses and has got himself a goal. I think he deserves to start against Arsenal. Willian doesn't look quite ready for the season yet and i have more faith in Moses than i do Cuadrado to be honest.

someone needs to get on the end of those crosses though, otherwise they will just be chances wasted if he plays this season.

You'd imagine that will just come with the strikers playing more with him though.

well i would hope so, but we had the same problem last season where whenever a dangerous cross was put in from that right side, no bugger got close to them.

like Moses, has done alright in these friendlies

does seem silly buying Cuadrado in hindsight now,

unfortunately Moses will prob go and Cuadrado stay due to his price tag

Go where? Go home to take a nap and recharge for the charity shield? yea, I agree.

You cant compare both. Moses is a winger and Willian is a center midfielder who should NEVER have been played out of position! never! As a number 10, Willian will be almost unstoppable. And thats where he should be playing.

even in his first stint with us, he did more for us than salah and cuadrado combined

i want him to stay, willian is my preferred starter in that position but with moses playing i dont feel any concern that he won't peform

Liked the signing when we acquired him and thought he had a respectable first season chipping in with 10 goals, as a 21 year old newbie in what was a big move for him.

Not followed him closely at Liverpool or Stoke so can't comment on what has happened since but he has looked a bright spark in pre-season in a position which we, seemingly, tried and failed to strengthen with the signing of Cuadrado.

Would hope we hold onto him and would think he could be a very useful squad player. We were fairly lucky with injuries last season and seemed to avoid ant long term injuries to first team players. I doubt we will be that lucky again this season so I see no advantage, other than a minor financial one, by sending him out on loan.

he is pony , don't rate him at all , always looks like a player who thinks he is better than he is ........would welcome a surprise but can't see it

I think he is alright, he's nothing special but i think he is better than Cuadrado and Salah. And seeing as we can't get another RW in i think he is the best option after Willian.
