September 29, 201411 yr Moses has been class so far in the first half, best player on the pitch, in my opinion. He has been at the heart of everything good that Stoke have done.
September 29, 201411 yr I didn't mind Moses personally, thought he was decent enough in his season with us and I've seen nothing from Salah to date to suggest he is a better player especially when you consider Moses qualifies as home grown.
September 29, 201411 yr He just missed a one on one with Krul. To be fair though the ball bounced to him right in front of Krul and he had no time to set up his shot or get situated and hit it right to Krul.
September 29, 201411 yr His time has passed, he started good but when he stopped playing, then he lost his form, in Liverpool he had the same. I still remember his goal against Shakhtar Donetsk.

September 29, 201411 yr Did Moses get hurt in this match? It seemed he was limping off the pitch at the end of the match.
September 29, 201411 yr I agree i'd happily have Moses back for depth purposes, i'd probably trust him more than Salah to come on and win us a game right now.
September 29, 201411 yr Did Moses get hurt in this match? It seemed he was limping off the pitch at the end of the match. I think he cramped up a bit. I would have too, if I were him, he was running up and down the pitch all night. I don't think it was anything serious.
September 30, 201411 yr Why haven't we sold him yet? Can't see him ever getting a game for us, even in the preseason.
September 30, 201411 yr Why haven't we sold him yet? Can't see him ever getting a game for us, even in the preseason. I don't get why we even signed him in the first place? Just to boost homegrown numbers?
October 1, 201411 yr I don't get why we even signed him in the first place? Just to boost homegrown numbers? Was it FSW who signed him? I think it was but I can't remember. Anyway what I do remember is, at the time, Moses had the highest 1v1 success rate for an attacking player in the league. He didn't get a lot of game time with us but when he did get a chance he was inconsistent and generally did nothing. He'd do a job for a mid-table team but don't think he's title-contending calibre. In regards to Salah, he is very similar, but he's also younger and is lightning quick. Don't think he's done a lot since he came to us either but Jose obviously sees some potential in him and I hope it works out. I doubt he'd have even been here had he not tore us to pieces in the CL last year.
October 1, 201411 yr No, Robbie signed him. I was against signing him at the time. He was just one of those Wigan players that looked great because he was a big fish in a small pond BUT when he came to us i thought he did ok. Better than say Salah has done for us so far. I like little Mo but i dont think he will ever step up to be at the level we need him to be at. I would have liked to keep Moses this season and given him a chance under Jose. But since Jose has returned Moses has been loaned out which i think tells us all we need to know about how he is rated at the club. I would guess if Vic carries on with his decent form for Stoke then they will make us a low offer for him next summer.

Must be a decent list of teams that would pay £5-8M for him, especially considering he's only 23. But yeah, fully expect him to be gone by this time next year. Salah's 1v1 play is pretty disappointing given the pace he's got, as is his end product. Reminds me a bit of Walcott in that regard. The potential is there but, at the moment, I can't see it being realised at Chelsea purely because there are so many players ahead of him. Sad to say but I think his only likely shot at getting regular minutes would be someone else getting injured.
October 2, 201411 yr I saw a lot of him in his younger years at Palace and still believe he has what it takes to make it at the top level. Unfortunately with the amount of attacking depth we have there's no chance he'll be doing it here. Could do with a permanent move to someone like Everton or Spurs IMO.
October 2, 201411 yr Was it a six month or year long loan to Stoke? If he carries on the good form he wouldn't be the worst reinforcement come January.

October 6, 201411 yr The thing about Victor Moses is that Stoke/Wigan are about his level - mid-to-bottom PL teams. It's not a massive surprise to see him do better there than at Liverpool, where higher standards are expected. He was OK in his season with us - quick but utterly lacking in end product. I personally rate Salah a bit more - neither have much composure in front of goal, but Salah IMO is quicker and more technically sound.

I wonder if this was intended in addition to rather than instead of signing Cuadrado? Would have been a good option to call on whilst Cuadrado acclimatised to the club and league but completely understand why he would want to stay with Stoke.
March 21, 201511 yr I still believe he's good player for us, but I can't see him staying here in the next season.

I hope this ain't true, because if it is then that would make me think that signing Cuadrado was nothing more than a panic buy.
