Big game now after the result at Newcastle, and this is truly where our response to that is tested. Needed to set down a marker for when we return for the international break and allow ourselves the chance to gain some points over either Arsenal and/or United.

 

I hope we do not change the side too much from the side that beat Schalke, unless there has to be changes for fitness reasons. Defense could do no more than keep and clean sheet, and the midfield and attack got us 3 goals against a decent side. Give them a chance to keep their spots, though I would not be adverse to seeing Mata in place of Oscar in the only change I'd make to the side as the latter seems to be a bit jaded in the past few games.

 

Thoughts ahead of this one? Are we back on track and maintaining our 100% winning run at the Bridge in the league?

Ill be in the Shed Upper for this. Cant wait. If anyone is going to the Imperial recognizes me Ill buy them a pint, Ill be the guy sitting next to his dad and singing in broken English lmao.

As for the game Id only make a couple of changes from yesterday. Mata for Oscar, Hazard for Schurrle and Cole for Ivan. Need to get three points here to keep up with Arsenal.

Similar team as last night with the  following changes:

 

- Mata on for Oscar

- Hazard on for Schurle

- Luiz on for Mikel (please don't crucify me for saying this... )

- Azpi right back

- Bert Left back

Arsenal have bottled much bigger leads before.

Arsenal have had a tendancy to finish strong this year. I coul see us struggle to catch up if they get an 8 point lead.

Same team as yesterday but with Mata, Berty/Cole and Azpi. 

 

Oscar disappointed me in truth.

 

We should use Azpi in games where we expect to win because he's much more effective at crosses and general attacking play.
