big blue Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Bit of a strange one after Mourinho said it would be better for the likes of solanke and rlc to stay with the first team rather than go on loan. Wouldn't be suprized to see rlc go out on loan aswell now tbh.
enigma Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 What striker at 17, 18, 19 or even 20 was leading the line for their club? I think solanke is a brilliant young player but he needs more time to develop, which I think he will at vitesse. Considering traore did great as a striker there, solanke should excel.
ForeverCarefree Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Good on him for being brave enough to play abroad at such a young age. IliyaKrostin, MissouriBlue and Jezz 3

JM7 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Jose in April "Next year [solanke] has two ways to go. For me it would be a big mistake for him to go on loan to another team in England or in Europe. Staying at Chelsea, training with the first team, having pre-season with the first team, sometimes covering the main strikers, and playing every week again for the Under-21s and the Under-18s - he would probably never need to go out on loan. He can just go step by step here, and in a couple of years [he will be a] first team player." Hmm. MissouriBlue 1

Floyd25 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I just have to mention, I thought he took his goal brilliantly the other day, against Vitesse, he seems like such a natural finisher, whereas I'm yet to be sold on Brown. PedroMendez and timetowaste 2
IliyaKrostin Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Scored today, he has two goals already. He got his place in the starting line, he does well until now.
Zinc Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Yup, scored the first goal yesterday. Doing pretty well in the Netherlands. Nathan scored the fourth as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDM_Jionbxs Bastian 1

Zeta Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Far from being the finished article yet, but he's the one from our youth team at the moment that I've got highest hopes for, over Loftus-Cheek.
IliyaKrostin Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 He clearly deserves to stay with us next season, I have high hopes about a fantastic duo. Dominic Solanke and Tabby Abraham. mad_mac 1
charierre Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 It's being reported that he has refused to sign a new contract due to the lack of opportunity at first team level. Meanwhile we prefer to load our squad with expensive wasters from South America. Give him the chance he craves.

Meanwhile we prefer to load our squad with expensive wasters from South America. Give him the chance he craves. Pretty sickening what this club is doing, but can you blame these kids? However much they want to be part of this club, there's seemingly no pathway to the first team.
the special one Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Good riddance if he goes, another c**t who wants too much too soon... and he really isn't that good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk kiwi1691 1

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Come on, he's a young lad with ambition. That doesn't make him a c**t and I don't think you honestly believe that so I'm happy to edit this post whenever you calm down a bit. Not worth saying things we'll regret now is it mate?
CFCholland Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 I could understand him wanting to leave. It would probably be best for him to play for a club that owns him so they have some incentive to play and develop him. ShedEnder91 1
the special one Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Not worth saying things we'll regret now is it mate? Whether it's here or somewhere else I'll eat humble pie if he makes it, but I've watched a fair bit of Vitesse this season and (like Loftus-Cheek) I've seen nothing to suggest he has what it takes to play for the first team, Aston Villa perhaps. undertow Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 And deserves! He's 18. I'm not sure what he expects. Had he stayed with the club this season he would've got his debut probably but I strongly feel that the loan was the better option for him, he needs games and not in the U21 league or sitting on the bench. He should concentrate on performing for Vitesse, we have free spots in the squad for the forward position as the only senior striker we have and is likely to stay is Costa. Adding the fact that Conte likes to play with two strikers there's definitely a spot to grab. PedroMendez and the special one 2
