November 29, 20178 yr Can't help but think he and Ox made at the very best sideways moves. Both would have played more for us so far this season. Not that I'd like to have either play large roles for us. Edited November 29, 20178 yr by TheChelseaBlues
January 3, 20188 yr No. He's made 16 appearances so far though, which is 16 more than he would have if he'd stayed.

Looks like this is what happened, solanke apparently being let out on loan by Liverpool after 0 appearances this season.
December 30, 20187 yr On loan you say? I await the criticism that says Liverpool are killing football, buying success, never developing their own players and are a bunch of rent boys. I reckon I'll be waiting a while.
December 30, 20187 yr Its a funny old world, Solanke is one of those strikers I think Sarri would have tried to use.
January 4, 20197 yr Double standards from the media as usual. He leaves us to go to Liverpool because we won't give him a chance, aren't Liverpool amazing they are giving a young English player a chance... He leaves Liverpool because he's barely played, aren't Liverpool amazing getting all that money for him.....no mention of him but getting game time.
January 4, 20197 yr Dom Solanke goes to Liverpool because they give youngsters a chance. First time in decades when Pool is close to a title they have absolutely no room for young players. Double standards.
January 5, 20197 yr Apparently we agreed compensation outside of a tribunal with Liverpool when he moved, I wandered if their was a sell on clause and if we’re due a percentage of that £20mil?
January 5, 20197 yr I know they say £20m is nothing in today's game......but for somebody who has achieved nothing and has barely kicked a ball in top flight football, that is a ridiculous amount of money. If this was around 10 years ago, that would have still been around £10m, and even then that would have been seen as ridiculous. Football is broken.

July 1, 20206 yr Amusing snippet on BBC website this evening : Dominic Solanke has netted only one goal in 57 Premier League appearances. As a Bournemouth player, he has failed to score from all 30 shot attempts.
