Posted February 24, 201411 yr There is talk of our team getting tired and not performing at the highest level so my question is would you rather get knocked out of the Champions League this round and go all out for the League or go all out for both and risk players being more tired or losing form and maybe giving up on the league this season? For me I always want us to win the league over everything. It was amazing to win the Champions League but every season I want us to win the league, everything else comes second.

I fully agree to this. Especially since we have the CL victory obsession out of our way now. I would rather see us win the league again.
February 24, 201411 yr I'd rather we rested players that need to be rested against Galatasaray, whether that means getting knocked out would depend on how good the squad players perform.
February 24, 201411 yr League for definite. We have under achieved in the league since Roman. 3 titles in 10 years is poor.
February 24, 201411 yr We shouldn't have to sacrifice either though, going into the season we had a big squad and we still do. There's ample game time for everyone to remain fresh but for some reason we just don't rotate. If we don't trust certain players then why are they here in the first place.Â
February 24, 201411 yr City and Arsenal currently have more fixtures than we do. Â Our squad should be able to compete on at least 2 fronts.
February 24, 201411 yr Most of it has to do with Jose's poor rotation. Â I have been unimpressed with his man management ability this time around. He's getting the best out of a few key players, but completely ignoring others. Â We should be able to fight on two fronts. No excuse. Edited February 24, 201411 yr by JoeyN

I'm glad someone has said it, I've been thinking it for a while myself, but didn't want to come across as ungrateful. I still think I'd take a second Champions League though, it's the hardest cup to win, without any doubt.
February 24, 201411 yr Both would be amazing, so I am going to pin my hopes on that!!! If we got one I would be delighted, a good strong finish and I'll be relatively happy whatever happens.
February 24, 201411 yr can just imagine how the gooners will feel if we won the European cup again while their tika-taka football get`s them nowhere again....lot`s and lot`s of LOL

February 24, 201411 yr League for me , especially with the run in we have , im not saying its easy , far from it but id rather ours than Citys and they don't play again in the premiership for 3 weeks .
February 24, 201411 yr No, you don't come over as ungrateful, but you do sound like a JCL. Â What's JCL about that? I think we have underachieved for the resources and players we've had at our disposal in the last decade. And a lot of it is down to shooting ourselves in the foot. Â As to the question, I don't see why we can't go for both. Getting to the final of the CL would mean a maximum of 18 games left this season. We have the squad to cope, provided we use it.
February 24, 201411 yr For me, every season is firstly get enough points to avoid relegation, and a nice run in the FA cup. Anything else is just a bonus, always has been and always will be.
February 24, 201411 yr Champions League easily. The biggest prize in world football in my opinion, even bigger than the World Cup. We've got a great chance of winning the PL this season and although CL seems unlikely we've got a better team than 2012
February 24, 201411 yr If I was told we could win the league, but meant we would be knocked about by Galatassary, I'd take it in an instant.

Mr Abramovich! The good news is this season he seems to be a lot more hands off and, dare I say it?............. Patient! Maybe, just maybe he has finally learned. February 24, 201411 yr Honestly, the champion's league again would be fantastic. You know what, I wouldn't even care if Arsenal or Liverpool won the league if it meant us winning the CL again. How amazing would that be to win the CL within 2 years of winning the last one? Winning the CL would be even more of an incentive to bring in big named players to the club too. And we could always rub it in the faces of the Arsenal fans AGAIN!! lol. You won the league, we won the Champion's League! Only team in London to win it, not once, but TWICE!   As long as we made at least 2nd or 3rd in the league too, winning the CL would be so, so sweet! And maybe beating Barca in the final? Just so it gives Xavi more ammo to go on another anti Chelsea rant.Â
February 24, 201411 yr That said, I would prefer to win the CL but the league is easier to win. We're not good enough to win the CL this season so likely to get knocked out - but we have a really good chance of winning of the league. So I would prefer to target the league instead.
