Wish him the best of luck. Played over 250 times for us and scored some very important goals for us - obviously the Barcelona one but also in the FA Cup final.

 

I don't remember him ever complaining and he always worked hard and got on with his job under several managers - Go well Rambo!

This was the right decision by the club especially for the money that was on offer to us, for what was essentially a squad player who's place will hopefully help RLC advance and get even more game time!

He was never the most technically gifted player.

All that said though, I can't help but feel a little sadness, he was part of the biggest night in the clubs history & without 'that' goal, we'd never have even been there in the first place.

He did score a few other crackers as well.

He always had a stellar attitude as well which is rare in footballers nowadays!
