December 19, 201411 yr What does the 130 murdered kids have to do with this? What a ridiculous to say. And yes "grab coins like a jew" is quite bad.
December 19, 201411 yr The thing about racism, its a matter of opinion. One person might find something insulting and another may not.
December 19, 201411 yr Re Balotelli, is it even possible for a black man to be racist towards black people? Er, no. Second, is "grabs coins like a Jew", really that bad? Suggesting someone is good at collecting money is not even insulting, FFS. You'd have to have paper thin bloody skin to take offence at that. I wonder what the world is coming to sometimes. 130 kids murdered by the Taliban and some idiot at the FA is worried about a ****ing Super Mario cartoon. Honestly, get a ****ing life. As much as I understand your viewpoint, I think Uno has got it spot-on really. It reminds me of that bit in Peep Show when those kids call Mark a 'cleanshirt'; a compliment in theory, but the manner in which it was expressed made it perfectly clear it was anything but. Being fiscally sound is a good thing, constant accusations of money-grubbing avarice really isn't. I can imagine that it would grate after a while.
December 19, 201411 yr Mourinho said: (talking about Hazard) "I don't know players who are considered legends in clubs without winning titles, so he has to do that but the potential, I think, everybody knows." I'm sure he is directing this towards someone ...
December 19, 201411 yr honestly, i am getting fed up with balotelli's antics now and it's about time he disappeared. he is stealing a living as a football player; there's a lot of people more worthy of his position.
December 19, 201411 yr Re Balotelli, is it even possible for a black man to be racist towards black people? Er, no. Erm, yes... Yes it is.
December 19, 201411 yr Erm, yes... Yes it is. Nonsense. What does the 130 murdered kids have to do with this? What a ridiculous to say. And yes "grab coins like a jew" is quite bad. What it has to do with it, is to point out that there's some terrible, terrible, things happen in this world, terrible things. And people worrying about a bloody cartoon with a joke couple of lines (by a black man with a Jewish mother, I might add) should give themselves a good slap and stop worrying about such utter trivia. I'd be more insulted if someone said my lawn needed a mow. Edited December 19, 201411 yr by Ronetta
December 19, 201411 yr Nonsense. No what is nonsense is that you are proclaiming that it isn't possible to be racist towards someone of the same skin colour. That's just an extremely naive and blinkered view of the world.

December 19, 201411 yr No what is nonsense is that you are proclaiming that it isn't possible to be racist towards someone of the same skin colour. That's just an extremely naive and blinkered view of the world. In your opinion
December 19, 201411 yr My Mum worked with a Ghanian Lady who was extremely racist towards Somali's , she absolutely hated them based purely on the fact that they came from Somalia. I would suggest that, that's just one example of a black person being racist towards other black people.
December 19, 201411 yr I'd take Milner at Chelsea if he doesn't sign a new deal We wouldn't need him, we have a better version of him in Willian.
December 19, 201411 yr I suppose it comes down to how you define "race"... Black skin does not necessarily mean you are of the same ethnic background, I suppose in some instances Bigotry is a more apt word than racism. This is all getting a bit complicated for me, on a Friday afternoon.
December 19, 201411 yr I try to treat people of all colours, races, religions and nationalities with the equal contempt they all deserve.

I would suggest that, that's just one example of a black person being racist towards other black people. Fair comment and in that context I would agree. Balotelli wasn't making comment about Somali's or Ghanians though was he. (Putting the Jew comment aside for one moment) he as a black man, made a comment about black men. I quote from the Oxford English Dictionary: Racism: Prejudice, discrimination, or antogism directed against someone of a different race... Therefore for a "black man" to make a comment about a "black man" cannot be racist. Had he made comment about Somalis, it would be a different matter. Edited December 19, 201411 yr by Ronetta
December 19, 201411 yr He was being stupid.. but I think that making what he said into that big of a deal is even more stupid. Are there people in the world that are still blatantly racist and think of people of another race lesser. Yes! Do I think Balotelli said what he did in a negative way and it was his intention to insult them? I don't. As an 18-year old living in a country that is more than 97% white, I find racism and the way it's handled quite ridiculous. I understand that if you're 82 and are a racist, e.t the Donald Sterling scandal in the NBA this spring. As Chris Rock said ''The first black person he ever saw he probably got as a christmas present''. But if you're born in 1996 and then you have no idea how someone could dismiss someone else because of the colour of their skin. It's just funny someone could think that way. And the only way kids these days can be exposed to racism is through the media, or if they're themselves living in a racist community. Bringing every little situation out as blatant racism is dumb in my opinion. I don't think there's a cure for racism other than time. In 100 years it probably will not exist, unless the americans ship a couple million chinese kids to the US and abuse them. See, that was a racist joke, If I was Balotelli I'd probably get fined for it. Ridiculous. - Rant over Edited December 19, 201411 yr by Soulo
December 19, 201411 yr Liverpool are supposedly paying €6m to have Origi return to the club in January. Obviously this could well be bollocks but I haven't seen anything from him (other than that one game at the World Cup) to suggest he is anything other than a wasteman.

Such A bollocks argument.

Obviously this could well be bollocks but I haven't seen anything from him (other than that one game at the World Cup) to suggest he is anything other than a wasteman. He's scored 4 goals in 18 games, 2 of which were penalties. Not really going to fix their finishing problems.

For some reason your wasteman comment made me laugh myself stupid! But let's face it, Liverpool are desperate. Balotelli has been as useful as a chocolate cauldron and for some reason Rodgers doesn't rate Markovic. Sturridge will continue to get crocked every other month so why not try out Origi?
