June 23, 201511 yr When Leicester signed Huth last season, having that bit of Premier League experience in the defence made a huge difference to their team, could be a smart move this by Bournemouth. Completely agree, plus I have always rated Distin very highly. From a quick look on a Bournemouth forum the fans seem to be quite underwhelmed and think he's only going to be signed as backup.
June 23, 201511 yr I'm fairly sure he's about 37 although oddly doesn't seem to have lost a single yard of pace. He's only been out of the Everton first team for about a season as well.

June 23, 201511 yr Seems like United are simply throwing more money at the problem, without really identifying what the problem is and having a structured plan to get out of it. They'll succeed to a certain extent simply because of their resources but I don't know if they actually have a cohesive plan for the future. They simply seem to be chasing whatever comes on the market. I have no idea who is identifying their targets. That's if you believe everything the media says, we seem to be the number one club agents use to lure management into new contracts for their players just because we have money. We are linked with a new player everyday, we've supposedly signed Gaitan 12 times.

June 24, 201511 yr Ha Ha "Mourinho spoiled the game" Not for me he didn't...Best Birthday present ever !
June 24, 201511 yr St Stevie sounds a right tit saying that - Jose didn't spoil the game at all but boy did he spoil their party - as he said he wanted to!

Stuff like this makes my summers pass, and more Liverpool slip-ups come faster than they would otherwise.
June 24, 201511 yr St Stevie sounds a right tit saying that - Jose didn't spoil the game at all but boy did he spoil their party - as he said he wanted to! I wonder if he'd have said he spoiled the game had Liverpool won? Probably not just sour grapes. That game will live with me forever when I saw Kalas starting I really thought we'd get done over but I should have known better. My Liverpool supporting mate was so angry after saying he didn't like how we played etc and I just said we won that's all that counts.
June 24, 201511 yr Nothing will beat our second goal at Anfield that day. Watching replays now, just the sight of Torres and Willian running clean through with not a solitary red shirt to be seen is enough to lift your spirits on the gloomiest day. It was simply wonderful. Slap it up them.

June 24, 201511 yr Wish Willian had passed it back to Torres though. Can you imagine. Gerrard slips AND Torres scores the winning goal to end their title challenge.

He had them very hard to beat. He had all the units. He spoilt the game and he even said after - he was quoted - 'We came to spoil the party.' The slip happened at a bad time, it was cruel for me personally. Yeah, what a sorry bunch of spoil sports, turning up and winning the game. It's not fair, not fair I tell you.

June 25, 201511 yr All they needed was a point to keep the title race within their hands. They assumed they would wipe the floor with us, as did their fans. They got cocky and paid the price.
June 25, 201511 yr I can't believe Southampton have accepted £12.5 for Clyne from Liverpool. For one of their key players i would have thought they could have held out for a lot more.
