2 years ??? that is over the top.

or 6 games, whichever comes first. And only from the US Open cup. Being made an example of but not that bad, you can't go around ripping up ref notebooks

after Jara's incident w/ Cavani in the Copa America, Mainz said Jara can leave. Germans can be so damn prude ;)

"We do not tolerate that. What makes me more angry than the prod, however, is what happens after. There is nothing I hate more than theatrics.

He knows that if an offer comes in, he can go."

Mainz's Sporting Director Christian Heidel

Lol!!!  What happened after "the prod"?!!  The mind boggles!

he acted liked Cavani socked him in the face & the ref saw that motion, which caused the ref to give Cavani his 2nd yellow card & his marching orders - checkout the incident from this angle

I'm very much enjoying the media's pained coverage of this, in the sense of trying to describe the incident without actually describing the specifics of the offence because you can't publish the words "stuck his finger up his arse". I remember "prodded his buttock" from the Guardian (?) although the BBC's was the best - "poked his bottom".
