Milan got a new sugar daddy?

Well I'm not sure what the exact details are but it's said a Taiwenese business man is or has bought a 51% stake in the club.

One of the reasons Berlusconi who was a supporter of FFP is now against it.

Interesting comments. I like the bit where he says moving to Liverpool has given him an idea of what it must be like to turn out for United or Chelsea week in week out.

I thought everyone at Anfield had to maintain the fiction that they are the biggest club in the universe.

So I'm seeing a lot of links of the likes of KDB, Pogba and the like linked to Man City but having lost Lampard and Milner are they now short on homegrown players?

Might be why they are allegedly the front runners for Sterling, they're probably the most willing to chuck money at him and Liverpool because he has additional value to them.

They have the same amount we do, more if Richards stays. They are also promoting 3 youngsters so I doubt it's a homegrown issue.

Richards is Aston Villa bound I believe.

Who are their homegrown players?

Richard Wright, Joe Hart, Gael Clichey? Does Nasri count? Struggling to think of them.

Yeah, those three. Nasri doesn't count.

Surely City aren't gonna go all the way to £50 mil

Not sure it's been rejected, some sources have it as still being on the table.

I think with add ons to about £40 million it would be accepted as Liverpool need to sort it out ASAP to identify a replacement and get it over the line.

City need English players especially after losing Milner so this is no doubt why they are hell bent on landing Sterling.

I agree that's a good amount for him way over the odds aswell so they can't really expect more.

They might increase the add ons/bonuses but I doubt they will go much higher on the actual fee. Sterling isn't that important and £50m would more than likely land them KDB,
