Haven't got Cable or Sky. Can't get cable here and I don't want to fork out for sky as I don't watch it enough to be worth it - I thought the Now box was ideal because I could just pay as I go for Chelsea matches. But that seems buggered now for CL. So back to streaming I guess. Or down the pub.

If you have fibre optic broadband and it's pretty fast I'd recommend an Android box. (about £50). You can add sport apps to stream your football through the TV.

Mines has been great, I also use it for films and TV shows on top of the sports.

Your internet connection needs be good though. (I'm thinking of switching to Virgin actually when my 18 months is up because it's faster and more reliable than Infinity).

Good for Rio to be part of BT and keep him busy.

Obviously I don't think he will be a good pundit and no doubt he will annoy me intensely but none the less it's great for him.

We've just got fibre optic in our area but haven't signed up to it yet.  But our current broadband speed is fast enough to run the now box and watch online tv so is that good enough?  I seem to remember someone on here recommending a box to me - I'll have to check it out again I guess.

Khederia has signed for Juventus on a free transfer from Real Madrid, surely one of Vidal or Pogba is on the move?

Also, Bilic confirmed as the new West Ham manager.

His club management record?

In May he announced his intention to leave Turkish side Besiktas, after failing to win the league title in his two years at the Istanbul club and missing out on Champions League qualification for next season.

Bilic spent 2012-13 in charge of Lokomotiv, but was sacked after leading them to a ninth-place finish, their worst season since the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1991.

So yeah, could be interesting times at West Ham, possible car crash season coming?

I get BT Sports 1 & 2 free as I'm with BT, I'm sure I'll have to fork out for this though.

You won't if you have broadband and BT tv.

It will be free including EL/CL channel.

I agree it also goes to show how terrible Liverpool's spending has been throughout the whole Premier League era. For the money they've spent they are massive underachievers to have not even won a single league title.

They'll always berate us about spending, but at least we've got something to show for our spending.

I think it's far more likely that Pirlo is the one who drops out.

Considering West Ham are trying to aim higher, they've appointed a guy with no managerial premiership experience and has an average record.

Big Sam got harshly treated, they should have stuck with him.

John Carver also been sacked by Newcastle. Another harsh sacking.i didn't expect him to get the job but I thought they would have given him his old job back.

He's utter sh*te. Worst manager since that assistant took over at Wolves and got them relegated. Can't remember his name, black chap.

Terry Connor. Played 13, won 0, drew 4, lost 9.

Disagree he had to go couldn't even stay as a number 2, he'd lost the dressing room, got into spats with players etc

Alexis Sanchez is 'disappointed' with the number of trophies won at Arsenal this season.

Don't worry, Alexis, in three years time you can move to Man City.

Just shows that he's been used to the good life at Barca, funny how Ozil has neve said the same. Ones clearly collecting a pay cheque whereas the other is actually putting an effort in and shows enthusiasm.
