It looks like James Rodriguez is closer to a move to Real, as he lands in Madrid. Apparently, the fee is around £70 million. I can't help but think that they may be making a mistake with this signing; they already have Isco, and Jese is still to return to the team.

This is the thing with Real they often already have a top player who either fits the team better or is just as talented as who they want but they're made surplus to requirements so they can sign this newly noticed hot talent for a huge amount of money. I swear to Real it's all about making a splash in the media rather than signing players that work for the team.

If real need money, I would love jese at chelsea. A brilliant talent, will no doubt terrorise defences and can become a top class player in a few years.

Jese had a pretty bad knee injury last season. Isco's the one if he becomes available that should be snapped up, but I reckon City would beat us to him anyway with the Pellegrini factor.

Eriksen aside they did buy rubbish, but I like Pochettino alot as a coach and some of their players might just need bedding. Paulinho surely has more in the locker.

They have a very good attacking midfielder and a good striker when he feels like it. I can see Tottenham struggling this season.
