When the sun rises from the west and sets in the east, and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves. Only then, will Spurs win the Premier League. Edited July 21, 201411 yr by JoeyN
July 21, 201411 yr It looks like James Rodriguez is closer to a move to Real, as he lands in Madrid. Apparently, the fee is around £70 million. I can't help but think that they may be making a mistake with this signing; they already have Isco, and Jese is still to return to the team. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/james-rodriguez-to-real-madrid-colombian-star-lands-in-madrid-ahead-of-potential-90m-deal-9617370.html
July 21, 201411 yr "Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo expects to be ruled out for "a few months" with a fractured metatarsal". - Sky Sports News.
July 21, 201411 yr This is the thing with Real they often already have a top player who either fits the team better or is just as talented as who they want but they're made surplus to requirements so they can sign this newly noticed hot talent for a huge amount of money. I swear to Real it's all about making a splash in the media rather than signing players that work for the team.
July 21, 201411 yr If real need money, I would love jese at chelsea. A brilliant talent, will no doubt terrorise defences and can become a top class player in a few years.
July 21, 201411 yr Jese had a pretty bad knee injury last season. Isco's the one if he becomes available that should be snapped up, but I reckon City would beat us to him anyway with the Pellegrini factor.
July 21, 201411 yr I actually reckon Spurs will come good this year, I fancy them over Liverpool in the race for fourth.
July 21, 201411 yr I actually reckon Spurs will come good this year, I fancy them over Liverpool in the race for fourth. I don't think they will. I don't think it's a case of their players needed time to settle in, i genuinely think those players just aren't good enough.
July 21, 201411 yr I don't think they will. I don't think it's a case of their players needed time to settle in, i genuinely think those players just aren't good enough. Eriksen aside they did buy rubbish, but I like Pochettino alot as a coach and some of their players might just need bedding. Paulinho surely has more in the locker.
July 21, 201411 yr Spurs have a solid spine of players, it's just their full backs and wingers that are awful.
July 21, 201411 yr Spurs have a solid spine of players, it's just their full backs and wingers that are awful. And their centre backs. So basically they are sh*te!
July 21, 201411 yr And their centre backs. So basically they are sh*te! They have a very good attacking midfielder and a good striker when he feels like it. I can see Tottenham struggling this season.
July 22, 201411 yr Why the hell are Spurs signing Vorm? Bad move for the player there as he won't be first choice
July 22, 201411 yr Why the hell are Spurs signing Vorm? Bad move for the player there as he won't be first choice Just scratched my head at that headline too!
July 22, 201411 yr Lloris has just signed a new five-year deal as well, I guess Vorm is more concerned with salary than playing time?
July 22, 201411 yr Madrid have signed Rodriguez. wonder if they would have bothered had it not been for his performance at the world cup. Great player no doubt but i just get the impression with madrid that they buy players more for the press attention
July 22, 201411 yr I know you guys and man city get a lot of sh*t for buying the league but imagine how pissed off you'd be following la liga, unless you were a fan of athletico that is
