It looks like James Rodriguez is closer to a move to Real, as he lands in Madrid. Apparently, the fee is around £70 million. I can't help but think that they may be making a mistake with this signing; they already have Isco, and Jese is still to return to the team.

This is the thing with Real they often already have a top player who either fits the team better or is just as talented as who they want but they're made surplus to requirements so they can sign this newly noticed hot talent for a huge amount of money. I swear to Real it's all about making a splash in the media rather than signing players that work for the team.

I don't think they will. I don't think it's a case of their players needed time to settle in, i genuinely think those players just aren't good enough.

 

Eriksen aside they did buy rubbish, but I like Pochettino alot as a coach and some of their players might just need bedding. Paulinho surely has more in the locker.

Madrid have signed Rodriguez.

wonder if they would have bothered had it not been for his performance at the world cup. Great player no doubt but i just get the impression with madrid that they buy players more for the press attention
