Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

Why is this laughable? They're spot on and good on them for making their feelings known. Of course the best way to protest would be to not go at all...but then if they did that a Japanese tourist or a grinning woman with an iPad would just buy the ticket instead.

Because you can't demand top players and challenge for a title if it's not being funded properly.

But the difference between affordable and unaffordable tickets (in the non-corporate sections of stadiums at least) is surely a drop in the ocean compared to the television revenues, merchandise etc. I think the clubs are taking the p1ss.

It's all well and good protesting about ticket prices but doing it at a game that you've already paid for shows that your loyalty will always win through.

I completely agree that ticket prices have become extortionate but the demand is there so nothing will change.

Lee Clark (Birmingham manager) has been sacked

Im too young to have seen him as a player but I know he played for Fulham

Also know he caused controversy between Sunderland and Newcastle as he is from the area and played for both. Was he any good? Hes irritated me in the interviews etc. i have seen

Absolute dirty sh*t kicker of a player. Bit like cattermole.

No doubt some are, like arsenal. But the fact that a lot of big clubs are struggling to stay in the black every year tells a different story.

The clubs have created it themselves with the daft wages they pay.

I don't know if you can blame the fans. They have had their loyalty exploited. Easy to say don't go but it is people's culture...what they have always done...family tradition etc. Difficult to give that up.

This is comical.

If Liverpool lowered their tickets to a price that those fans found acceptable, then they'd be left working with even lower calibre players.

At a time when record money is coming into the clubs via tv and sponsorships, the real fans have been marginalised by ever increased ticket prices. This results in more tourists at the grounds and sterile atmospheres, fair play to those who protest.

Superb victory by West Ham last night as they deserved that win against Manchester City. I've been really surprised by how well they've performed so far this season. It will now be a question of whether they can keep it up or not. Manchester City's loss will have interesting repercussions if we beat Manchester United tonight. Win tonight and we're in a really good position to go on with it and have a great chance to win the title. I wonder if Jose will change his approach to tonight's game as a result of the events that took place at Upton Park yesterday?

Liverpool has proven to be an overrated team yet again after one good season. They also did this in 2002 and 2009 where they had great seasons but fell short in winning the title and then in the following season they reverted back to mediocrity. Balotelli is proving to be a blunder of a signing and the probably the worst of the summer so far.

Arsenal were gifted three points because Sunderland was just so bad. I still wonder how we lost to them late season at home.

Some City fans rooting for us today genuinely think it's more important that United finish outside of the top 4 again, even if it means City don't win the title.

They would rather have United go into a long decline, even if it means losing out on the title for one season.

And this is why I am glad we don't have a big major rivalry. Imagine hating a team more than you love your own.

Arsenal fans are the same with Spurs, end of the day I want whatever results help us. Of course there are teams I love to see lose but never at the expense of ourselves.

Rightfully so, he's awful.

Was a strange signing. Literally only in the hope of making a small profit on him. But surely with the transfer fee we paid and then the wages, we'll probably make a loss anyway.
