October 26, 201411 yr Some City fans rooting for us today genuinely think it's more important that United finish outside of the top 4 again, even if it means City don't win the title. They would rather have United go into a long decline, even if it means losing out on the title for one season. And this is why I am glad we don't have a big major rivalry. Imagine hating a team more than you love your own. I'm pretty sure there were Chelsea fans on here during the last month of last season saying they would prefer for us to be out of the title race if it guaranteed Liverpool would not win the title.
October 26, 201411 yr Damn. The game isn't yet over but our season is heading in the same direction as last. We are again pushing up and relying too heavily on defensive strength that we don't yet posses. Gutting. There's still time in this game...

Imagine hating a team more than you love your own. Imagine if Chelsea went on a 10/15 year run without a trophy and if Spurs/Arsenal went on to dominate the Premier League and won a CL etc and constantly rubbed it in your faces, You would feel exactly the same as us. Chelsea's most heated rivalry at the moment is Liverpool in terms of pure dislike, Title rivalry is with us and therefore Arsenal/Spurs i feel are almost irrelevant to you not even mentioning Fulham or QPR, You are the big cheese of London and there's no disputing it. With us the City is still up for grabs, If United beat Chelsea today they are well and truly back in the title race and that ego of theirs will rear it's ugly head, I would not mind Chelsea stuffing them today because it's a long season and at least i can hold my hands up and say we got beat by a great team to the title, A draw would be the best result though.
October 26, 201411 yr Hell of a goal from Eto'o, he's still got it. He's still anticipating opportunities light years before anyone else on the pitch. Enjoyed all his cheeky goals for us.
October 26, 201411 yr Arsenal fans are the same with Spurs, end of the day I want whatever results help us. Of course there are teams I love to see lose but never at the expense of ourselves. Agree with you so much Bobby, well said! Edited October 26, 201411 yr by Butterhampton FC
October 26, 201411 yr Hope City come 3rd in their CL group. Slight possibility but it may make it harder for them to progress in the league whilst they're in EL, making it easier for us. Edited October 26, 201411 yr by MANoWAR

October 26, 201411 yr At a time when record money is coming into the clubs via tv and sponsorships, the real fans have been marginalised by ever increased ticket prices. This results in more tourists at the grounds and sterile atmospheres, fair play to those who protest. Exactly. All of us that go to the games are being mugged at the moment, and are likely to be for the foreseeable future. For example, if you said that Liverpool had ST income of around £30,000m a season, when they got the new TV deal they could have halved ST prices, and what difference would it have really made. It would have meant we couldn't have signed one of our £15m success stories. I could live with that, in the knowledge that my ST was back to a decent level. Sick to death of it. £2.50 for a cup of coffee, which is all we buy at the ground now. Clubs are run by corporate highwaymen these days, with beaming smiles instead of the masks.

I can understand where you're coming from, my dad who is a Liverpool fan almost at times is exactly the same about United. I've never had a problem with City. We're both two good teams who got lucky with our owners and now everybody is jealous of both teams success. That's it really.
October 27, 201411 yr What the hell is that Newcastle away kit? Vile. The blue and green effort? Imagine being a Newcastle fan. Walking around with a Wonga-logo splattered atrocity. To be fair, the logo fits in better with their third kit than it does with the frst or second, mainly becaise the third kit and the Wonga logo are equally f**king 'orrible.
October 27, 201411 yr They showed these on MOTD. And I thought half n half scarves were bad! what in God's name were the makers - and even more so, the purchasers - thinking!
October 27, 201411 yr Anyone who wears a half and half shirt is proper c**t and deserves to be slapped in the face with a wet sack of sh*t.
October 27, 201411 yr New trend I guess... The bloke on the right unfortunately symbolises the modern football fan.
October 27, 201411 yr New trend I guess... No! Nonononono! Just... NO! What are they thinking? Bring back capital punishment I say!
October 27, 201411 yr Tony Fernandes has taken a naked selfie on twitter to mock the Taarabt/Redknapp row, Should I or is someone else going to take this?
October 27, 201411 yr New trend I guess... Almost lost for words at: 1. The sheer c**t-ery of the idea; 2. The sheer c**t-ery of anyone who'd wear one;
