They are doing pretty well in the Europa League though. If they was to win it ( i doubt they will ) then i think the Everton fans would keep Martinez for life.

You're right. I think that he may need to win it to satisfy fans. He's playing a game without much of an end-product. Mind you, neither are we, sometimes.

Seeing as they both named Dave as the best defender in the league I think it's safe to say he will get in.

Other than that I would say Terry and Matic.

Coleman and Kompany to complete the defense.

Silva, Sigudsson, Sanchez in attacking midfield.

Aguero up front.

Not sure who they'll go with in midfield with Matic, I'd say Fabregas but maybe that's my blue tinted specs speaking.

I'd say he will miss out so as not to have an overly Chelsea dominated team.

It's easy to look at players like Sanchez and Silva and argue their inclusion but we have the best defence so you'd expect us to be represented there, other teams don't come close to having the quality in defense we do so for the sake of balance I think we will see players from other teams in attacking positions.

Saw her outside the Bridge after the West Ham game and I'm strolling along in one of the videos. Love that she's doing our interviews while that Shrek-looking f**ker does the Arsenal one and the Milky Bar kid does the scousers'. We're just better.

Southampton have a better record and they have only just recently been promoted, the difference being they have had good managers. Certainly not players because Newcastle have had (and still do) some quality players during Pardew's tenture. 

 

Pardew hasn't done alright for me, he's been poor baring that one season where his players were playing well despite sh*t tactics. It's not unrealistic to want a manager that can push for Europe along with the likes of Everton with the squad they have, it's not unrealistic to want a manager who can consistently finish above teams like Stoke.

 

As Southampton and Swansea have shown, if you do your homework instead of relying on the same old tried and tested Warnock's, Bruce's, etc you'll get pretty far. Doubt they would win trophies and such, simply cause they don't have the financial power to do so, but they can do better than Pardew, that's for sure.

Really selfish on the ball, his ability in front of goal isn't good enough to warrant it either.
