It's a shame Gerrard player with such average players as Xabi Alonso, Fenando Torres, Luis Suarez, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Jamie Carragher, Gary McCallister, etc etc.

Massive summer for Liverpool. They could easily slip into mid table mediocrity. Gerrard, Sterling both leaving will leave a massive lack of quailty in their squad.

I "liked" because I agreed - as the usual definition of the "like" button is for me.  But then I realised I really  liked the idea of them slipping into mid table mediocrity!

Barry, you could buy Liverpool and then like Mr Tan at Cardiff, change their kit to blue, take the Liverbird off the badge and replace it with a Gryphon, demolish the kop and build a Job Centre in its place. That'd make things better all round.
