    What policy is that? Buying average players at ridiculous prices? I also read today that they have pretty much wrapped up a deal for James Milner...not sure how I feel about that.

    Milner isn't going to turn them into world beaters. He does a job but he's nothing spectacular.

    the only thing I know about FSG's transfer policy is that they don't like to put their hands in their pockets - I read that their net contribution after sales and other revenue has been pitiful, around £8m 

     

    sounds as if they don't want to flash the cash for the marquee signings LIverpool fans crave - now Brendan looks totally undermined, he has to accept the policy i.e. don't get ideas above your station son
