October 3, 201510 yr The PL is the best league but not because our teams are the best. We have a much more competitive league than all the others. Competitiveness doesn't automatically equal high quality, though. I bet the Luxemburg league is also very competitive. Edited October 3, 201510 yr by Valerie
October 3, 201510 yr Competitiveness doesn't automatically equal high quality, though. I bet the Luxemburg league is also very competitive. Not but on balance our sides are quality enough that we have a competitive league that is good quality. Although I will admit that quality isn't where it was at but its still the best of all the top league where a few teams totally dominate and barely have dodgy away trips like in the Prem with certain teams. October 3, 201510 yr I think the premier league is the most competitive, but not the best quality. Real madrid and barca have took some of those world class players that would have put the best teams in England, also the best in Europe. I think the United team in 08 was the last that was genuinely the best in Europe when they won the champions league. We were genuinely the second best aswell and epl was at its peak. Hopefully with barca and real having to split the tv revenue money more evenly, the epl will be able to atract and hold onto the best players in Europe.
October 4, 201510 yr Awwwww... there goes all the last bit of fun. At least he can show dignity and character now. In one year's time it's black duct tape time to commemorate this.

October 4, 201510 yr Bad thought: will he become a pundit?! Oh no. No no no no. He's probably too busy trying to hang on to his arm candy.

October 4, 201510 yr Imagine if Klopp replaces him. Can anyone picture Klopp giving the "happy to be at a huge club" bullsh*t? Edited October 4, 201510 yr by AlexTommo
October 4, 201510 yr Think they might get Klopp I reckon he's already lined up to come in, that's why they are happy to let him go off the back of a draw.
October 4, 201510 yr If it is Klopp, it'll be interesting to see how he does here in the UK. I'm not entirely convinced he's the Messiah a lot of people seem to think.
October 4, 201510 yr Nah, they are not getting Klopp. It's too obvious, everyone. The next manager of Liverpool is the one and only Dick Advocaat.
October 4, 201510 yr A man of class right to the very end and a man who's represented the club with dignity and honour and for that every single fan should hold him in the highest regard. He'll never walk alone
October 4, 201510 yr I also notice that on RAWK they changed the thread title from "Brendan Rodgers sacked" to "Brendan Rodgers is no longer Liverpool manager", because of course Liverpool are too classy to ever sack a manager. Edited October 4, 201510 yr by Zeta Orionis
