If Remy was given more time and more games he will score goals and increase his confidence. More than can be assured from Falcao, and to some degree Costa as well, not exactly banging them in his he ?

I agree, Remy was poor on Saturday but we gave him nothing to do. He had no help, nobody passing to him, nothing. It's not like he could stop the 2 goals from happening either. Playing Remy wasn't the problem, it was our approach to the game and how we defended.

This dude maybe is just a supersub but having said so I'd still prefer him to falcao..

Not sure about the 'Costa would have won the game for us' theory, if this comes from the manager, would be a huge confidence blow for Remy. Cost would have won a few more physical battles on the day, he has missed a number of easy chances this season too, let's not pretend he's in 2014 form. Remy should get another start this Saturday, really don't like our chances if Falcao starts ( he was worse than Remy after he came on against Newcastle)

Costa winning physical battles? Haven't seen much of that recently. He was being mugged off the ball left, right and centre by Telaviv defenders. I don't think he's half as good at physically dominating an opponent the 'Drogba way' as fans give him cresit for. Being a nuisance, pinching, pulling hair, accidental eye pokes, elbows and backhands to the face, etc - that's a different story.

Unless he got injured in training, which was not reported anywhere I don't think? IMO I think he is off as soon as possible after the transfer window opens and did not want to get injured.  Falcao was supposedly fit wasn't he last week, he took part in all training sessions, maybe he is off too?  Just all seems a bit fishy to me.

I think if he will leave he will make the right choice, it seems impossible for him to become a starter, even when Costa showing poor performances. He deserves to play and he can play in every team that need a good striker who knows how to finish, United for example. 

Soon the thread will be changed to goodbye lorc Remy... Lol

Honestly wouldn't be too surprised if both him and Falcao were moved on as early as next month.

There won't be a shortage of clubs after him, this guy will get you 15 PL goals even in a sh*t team. Showed that at QPR, Mourinho didn't use him enough unfortunatley.
