If Remy wants more silverware, best place to be is on our bench waiting for his chance, and he will get chances, plenty of them, when Costa is unavailable  (which he's bound to be) we won't be very patient with Falcao, not like we were with Nando.

25 starts ? not a chance. I have never seen a player his age suddenly turn it back on, it just doesn't happen, can you think of any player at his age who had 2 very poor seasons, and then suddenly turns back into a world beater ?

I dont mean 25 starts necessarily, but ffs is 25 starts 'world beater'status? Drogba played in 26 PL games and 38 total last season. He started quite a few if I remember correctly.

I dont think its any stretch to say Falcao will get 20~30 games. Which will still leave Remy with an increased role.

Mourinho just said in his interview that he's happy with his three strikers so looks like he's not going anywhere. Great news.

With JM stating we are only after one more player, a defender, looks like Remy is staying.

Is it me or does it feel crazy to think back to a time when we had a striker we knew would never score when 1 on 1. Now we have two I'm confident they find the net nearly every time they are through. Crazy the difference a few seasons can make!

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bamford loan was linked to their interest in Remy. They take Bamford on loan for the season and let us see if he is the real deal, and we let them have Remy next summer when he may be more interested to move for more regular first team football after having won a few medals.
