Jose needs to integrate him to the team. He didn't turn crap overnight. He dominated at World Cup against the best players in the world so he has bags of potential. I don't think it is beyond him to take the spot from Willian. Willian is a posession player but Cuadrado could be the end product player. Schurrle couldn't do it but I hope Juan can.

This summer is crucial. I agree he had no place in our starting eleven this season. He was a mess. Jose needs to take him under his wing and give him extra attention. He is star quality and he was very expensive. He is Maloudaish so I think he can be very useful.

Yeah but Salah looks a world beater for Fiornetina, so not sure how much we can take from that.

A quick watch of his highlights of this year on YouTube  before we signed him shows a player who produces a bit of skill but then loses possession on many occasions,much of what we have witnessed so far in his brief Chelsea career. Remembering these are his highlights of the season , you do wonder how well he was scouted by us and 27m looks an awful lot of money for a player who at best looks inconsistent and not even particularly good on YouTube.

2:49 of that video. That's exactly what he tries every time he gets the ball in a Chelsea shirt and it hasn't worked once. And even in that video where it worked he then loses the ball straight away.

Did well, real shame he picked up a knock.

Thought he did really well. Still not on the same wavelength at times but he was a threat. Hopefully it gives him the confidence to go into preseason with belief he can make an impact next season.

I thought he was pretty awful today, got the penalty and had a good 5 minutes at the start, but lost the ball alot.

Finally we could see something good from him now, shame he got injured.

I don't know if I'm reading to much into it but seeing him the dressing room after he looked kind of sad, made me feel sorry for him.

But I thought he played well today, unlucky to get injured when he did.

First time he has put in a performance, albeit for just 45 minutes, where you could see glimpses of why club signed him...looked far quicker, was taking players on and looked dangerous...sods law he gets an injury, but hopefully that will have given him a bit of confidence for next season
