Cuadrado just seems too scared to take players on for some reason. I hate to say it but maybe he is fearful of the lashings he will get from Jose/fans whenever he loses possession? You see him get the ball, stand up to defenders and stumble or do nothing and lose possession. He is fast enough to leave most players standing around in his dust, but he is too fearful at the moment. Also seems to get pushed off the ball easily so perhaps needs to work on his core and strengthen up a little, like Oscar needs to do. Hope they are major improvements if jose wants to keep him.

Massively underrated player between 05-07 he was one of the best in this country.

The video doesn't show the goal against Norwich to well, but he had both elements to his game, he  could work back, put a challenges in and then on the other end he could produce absolute magic, that goal brings both in to play. Also remember his performances against Barca (second leg) and Munich (both games where he tore both teams a new one. All three (robben, Duff and cole) were fantastic players but I think Just how good Cole was seem's to get forgotten. All 3 would walk in to our first team today in my opinion

That goal against United 05/06 is one of my favourite ever goals. Can't remember too many goals scored by us with such individual quality

If he hadn't picked up that 2nd knee injury i think it's possible that he would still be at the club.

As expected he is in Colombia's Copa America squad so no preseason.

I suspect he'll miss the games in Thailand and Australia but the final of the Copa America is 18 days before our first US game so he may be able to catch up with the squad there. That's if Columbia goes all the way.

What it means is very little break, if any.

Not a chance we are loaning him out with his pricetag. I'm praying by some miracle he does well in Copa America and we can sell him with a slight loss in january 2016. Just got to make sure we don't play him so his value decreases further :P

Shame it just isn't working for him surely has to be shipped out for next season.

I think we need to sack some scouts and sign whoever Athletico Madrid have.

We all know Jose wants his attacking players to do their share of the defensive chores. Quite right too IMO. And when the opposition had the ball Schurrle's defensive awareness and positioning was pants. But I have to say Cuadrado makes Schurrle look like Paolo Maldini.

He must have about the same amount of bookings as appearances with all the wild lunging challenges he's mistimed.

I have been saying we can't judge this lad properly until next season but by god it's hard to think that, he just looks dreadful. Worried he's another one of those impresses at a World Cup but is actually a poor player in the PL. I don't think we'll get rid just yet but if an offer came in maybe we would consider it.

Can we really get rid of him before Jan even if we wanted to, isn't there a rule about playing for 2 clubs max in one calendar year?

Think that rule is per season so resets soon. I could be wrong though.

Maybe someone in Italy will take him back.

A mistake buy, and expensive one at that ... surely we have someone better in our loan army, etc?
