Diego "the guv'nor" Costa

Featured Replies

Doesn't seem like the kind of guy to sh*t on everything he established at Atletico. Becoming their top scorer in the season they turned the tables in Spain and won the league. He would just be tarnishing the name he made by joining Real. So I see 0% truth in that story. Perhaps true about missing Spain but if that was the case he'd be offered to Atletico in exchange for someone like Koke or Griezmann. Club wouldn't hold on to a player who doesn't want to be here.

Gloss over the final two paragraphs, this isn't Man U, and Costa is going to have one hell of a 15/16 season, I feel it.

Mirror fantasy team.

Last season's top scorer was Sergio Aguero, who bagged 26 league goals for Manchester City at an average of 0.8 per game.

At £9.2m he's the joint most expensive player in the game alongside Chelsea's Diego Costa.

Costa "only" managed 20 last time out, but also did it at a ratio of 0.8 per game. That gives Costa and Aguero the joint best goals per game ratios of any of Fantasy iTeam's 10 most expensive forwards.

Harry Kane's 21 goals came at a ratio of 0.6 per game, while Arsenal's Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez were scoring at a rate of 0.5 per game last season.

Radamel Falcao has the worst goals per game ratio of any of the 10 most expensive forwards in Fantasy iTeam.

He averaged just 0.2 per match for Manchester United, though did managed averages of 0.6, 0.8 and 0.7 per game in the previous three seasons.

I know he scored 20 goals last season, but the jury is still out on him for me. He lacks ball control, ball retainment and just looks clumsy to me. He doesn't seem consistent enough as a striker. He will have one great game, then will go missing and look very average in the next two or three games. The chances he misses are bad considering his quality as a supposed top finisher. On top of that, his persistent hamstring injury is another negative we keep having to deal with. I hope he comes back strong this season and proves me wrong, but so far I am still expecting more from him. I personally think falcao and remy will have a larger part to play in our success this season than costa.

Your whole post is nonsense but especially this bit.

Diego has the best goals to shots ratio in the Premier League.

Tired of reading unfounded bashing of the team and players this close season.
