with the way cahill and terry have spoken about giving them both hard times with his movement, positioning etc, i really think he will be brilliant for us. let us be honest, terry and cahill are two of the best defenders in europe, so if they're being given a hard time by any striker, then he must be doing something right. with hazard, oscar, fabregas, willian, traore etc around him, i think he'll do really well. i have no doubts about his abilities at all tbh.

Radamel Falcao has joined up with his new Chelsea team-mates.

The Colombian flew into Newark Airport in New York, with the striker joining on a season-long loan from Monaco after Manchester United turned down the chance to sign him on a permanent deal.

I actually agree that it could be, even though I have almost zero faith (blame the Torres signing for that) I do think there is a possibility he could (and I hope he does) provide the doubters wrong. Prof he's able to get anywhere near 20 goals next season it could be a major difference in the title race.

i wasn't overly impressed with neither remy nor costa yesterday, so i am pinning some faith on falcao to show us what he's made of vs psg 

 

He was easily one of the most lethal forwards in the world a few years ago...If he could even get to half of that level he would still be one of the best strikers in the League

We can only give him a try I suppose. I have a lot more confidence in Jose signing him than I have if it was avb or scolari signing him, then I would be spitting feathers. If he bangs in anything over 10 goals next year then it’s a good deal. Jose's ego will be well stroked. Good luck Falcao

It was a friendly, shouldn't you be judging Costa and Remy on last seasons performances rather than a meaningless friendly ?

 

Also, Remy scored and looked very lively in the 45 minutes he played and if Costa was sharper in the second half he could easily have had a hat trick.
