We see laser's aimed at footballer's eyes many times every season that aren't investigated. I agree that it should be investigated, but it's just another example of the F.A's inconsistency, if you're going to investigate it this time, then investigate it every time. I personally think that Charlie Adam's challenge on Willian was much worse than a laser in someone's eye, but as usual it has been comepletely ignored.

Don't forget before that he busted up DC's rib cage. I am sure most of England cheered for that. bar stewards

I watched the game on & off on a Mobdro feed on my phone, while watching the telly with the wife. Every time I looked at the phone in the first half, one of our players would be doing a cartwheel in the air, after a Stoke 'challenge'. I couldn't believe they only had one booking in the first half

The ref's are so inconsistent. I remember one of our defenders, a couple of years ago, getting the ball, and the man in the challenge. And got booked.

Stoke seem to be able to avoid the book AND the ball

think city will win the same double as us last season

btw remember when the all the media are hyping depay to be the next ronaldo/cruyff ? that was funny

more chance of the man in your avi being the more successful of the two imo.

I agree that the FA is inconsistent, bordering on criminally, but I think in this case (and the case in the link) it's just investigating whenever they see it on TV and therefore have video evidence.

Would prefer them to win the league than Arsenal

This.

Imagine the number of selfies their players would take with Wenger and the PL trophy.

I got goosebumps imagining that.

City were our saviour 2 years ago. Even though I live north of Manchester/Liverpool, I only get stick off Liverpool and Man Utd fans.

The Everton fans I know, are pretty realistic. The City fans aren't as spiteful as Liverpool/United.

If we can't win it, I'm ok with City winning it.

Once again I am in awe of Leicester.

Their spirit and creativity is incredible, not to mention Vardy and Mahrez both being unplayable at times (and both in my fantasy team as captain and vice captain respectively, get in!) , really shows how god-awful we've become.

almost every team on MOTD tonight showed more desire and fight than we did - truly shocking

Given how we are going this season we may want to shift the focus from United, City and Arsenal to Newcastle, Villa and Sunderland. At the moment they are far more a direct league rival too us than our usual opponents.
