April 5, 201610 yr I saw the league table today and, looking at Arsenal's position and their run-in and our run-in, I wonder whether we are catch-able? We face some tough matches where, like Saturday, we could come away with a draw. Does anyone else think that Arsenal can push on to second place, or beyond? (IF Leicester drop the baton). They can and there will be talk of them being favorites next season. Followed by them playing great for 20 games then fading away only to go on a run in April and May. Rinse and repeat
April 5, 201610 yr This was seen by an Arsenal fan on Saturday. Someone lost a bet. Either that, or she wears the trousers.
April 5, 201610 yr Still not as bad as this though Joey, This was seen at Anfield on Saturday. The pressure of always remembering not to stand on the left of your boyfriend!
April 5, 201610 yr What are the chances their surnames are Together and Since? About the same as both having a job.
April 5, 201610 yr Still not as bad as this though Joey, This was seen at Anfield on Saturday. So they met when she was 14 and the guy was 20?
April 5, 201610 yr So they met when she was 14 and the guy was 20? No doubt Sunderland do a roaring trade in stuff like this. Am I the only one who doesn't think that's all that bad? Stuff like this isn't bad, but that's a 2015 shirt right? So they're saying they've been together for a year/18 months aren't they? That's a tiny bit desperate.
April 5, 201610 yr Am I the only one who doesn't think that's all that bad? Nothing says romance like a customized football shirt, right?
April 5, 201610 yr Not a fan of novelty names printed on the back of shirts in general, I think they have to be particularly funny to be acceptable (like that guy at Leicester who has the 'Drinkbeer' shirt). The example of the Arsenal couple was at least somewhat amusing, the Liverpool couple are just a bit cringeworthy (especially considering the length of time they've been together). I will note that I'm not necessarily opposed to public displays of affection though. I know a lot of people who get really bitter about it but (assuming it's not over-the-top) I think it's quite nice to see people walking around holding hands and such.
April 5, 201610 yr So they've been together since 2014. That means they probably were together when they saw Gerrard slip. Perhaps just as Gerrard got down on his knees he did the same to propose.
April 5, 201610 yr Squires' cartoon on the doping allegations http://www.theguardian.com/football/picture/2016/apr/05/david-squires-on-doping-allegations-in-english-football The "blood passport" illustration had me in tears!
April 5, 201610 yr Totally forgot there is CL football tonight. Stumbled on Barfelona v Atletico by accident. Torres and Felipe Luis starting; Simeone already going mental.
April 5, 201610 yr Poor attempt from Messi there, at least get it on target you moose He's probably got Panama on his mind...
