Talk of him being loaned back to a Brazillian club.

Seems a strange move considering he has played premier league football at two clubs now and is still only 20.  Surely there would be takers closer to his adopted home?  Even in Spain?  Musonda's first season at Betis was great, a similar club could work well.

Been confirmed that the Brazil rumours were nothing. Hopefully he'll get some game time either with us or another prem side. 

Get the impression Conte isn't keen.

Calling back Musonda and Ake, relegate his chances of playing LW or LWB which surely could be his only two positions for us. Obviously didn't get on well at Watford hence the early termination their part. It's a shame as he looks talented, but maybe a player that doesn't have the discipline or attitude to make it with us.

I predict a sale to a Spanish club for £10-15m in the summer.

We should be so lucky. I imagine a loan to a Spanish club or a sale to Brazil for half that money

Question is, is it because he's impressed in training or because we haven't been able to sign January transfer targets? 

Not a fan and if we are going to focus on one of the returning loanees i would have preffered Musounda, the Belgium has obscene potential, Kenedy doesn't.

I'm also not Kenedy's biggest fan, definitely not as an out and out attacker but it's apples and oranges. There's no way Musonda could play wingback, and with Aina and Iva both possibly leaving, that's an area we need some depth in. And if he develops well, he could make a good wingback. For me it's the position he's best suited for.

Think he will prove a useful addition to the squad in the second half of the season, looked ok at left back last season and has a similar level of physicality to Moses so hopefully will pick up the position just as well. 

Needs an extended run in a side I think, before we can judge if he's any good or not. Glimpses last season were good, but didn't play at all at Watford, so there must be a reason for that.

He was injured.

We now have 2 additional wingbacks in Ake and Kenedy. As someone stated Ake is probably a better cover for one of the back 3 but he can do well as a wingback I think.

Kenedy can do what Moses does when given the chance. He is very raw still but if Moses or Alonso gets injured throw in Kenedy.

From what we saw of Kennedy in a Chelsea shirt bags of talent but a bit raw, mind you Moses has always been raw, for me if conte gets him drilled he is a sutsble stand in at lb and I think could be a big improvement given time, we know he can tackle, remember in the box against Suarez pre season, don't see why he can't be a great WB

As an attacking left back he could become a good player if he can improve his defensive side, as a winger i just don't think he has good enough quality of touch or football brain for this level of football. Im not convinced he can work as a wingback either (i think its been subconsciously accepted as a middle ground because of the full back vs winger debate) but if Conte thinks otherwise im happy to assume myself wrong and get behind the decision.

 

Apparently can still go on loan to leagues with a substantial winter break such as the Brazilian league according to fifa's rules. Can't see that happening tbf but its still a possibility.

Wasn't he on the bench a few matches back? I hope he'll get some time if we wrap up the league on Friday. I think he would be a good wingback option, especially in some earlier cup matches.

Did you hear about Conte's outburst at Buffon in 2014? Even if we win the title tomorrow there will be minimal to no rotation for the last two games.
