Lost again. How many games has he lost since he's been manager?

He's won 6 of the 16 premier league games he's been in charge.

He's been very poor no matter the squad he has.

They have been turned over by teams with half the wage budget and value of their first team, it's no excuse.

The question is will he be given all the funds he needs to turn them into a challenging side?

I have my doubts!

If things weren't bad enough for Klopp with his team struggling in the league and being knocked out of the FA and League cups and having his appendix removed he has had an accident prone cow named after him.

They're in the league cup final aren't they?

They're still in that and going to Wembley.

As Seven Times says, it is still too early to judge. They got some great wins early on but have looked poor of late - just very inconsistent, but with players he has inherited.

I hope it all goes wrong although I can't help but like the bloke but he is in danger of becoming a caricature of himself.

Yes, still in the League Cup. Don't know what I was thinking  when I typed the post. I'll blame it on the port and whisky I drank last night and the early morning swim. Lame excuses, I know. True, too early to judge.

Wishful thinking, I understand.  You've mentally blocked out the fact that they're there which is 100% understandable.

Still early days but my original fears that Klopp could well make the dippers a force again are looking a distinct possibility.

I said at the time I was gutted we missed out on him and even more gutted he went there of all places. Think he would have been brilliant for us and such a likeable bloke too. As Martinez is such a twat, I found myself in the uncomfortable position last night of watching the Merseyside derby and actually relishing a dipper victory. Feel like I now need therapy!

A guy in my work is a very realistic and often pessimistic Liverpool fan.

He reckons next season if they miss the Europa league they will be able to have a good campaign for once.

Hope he's wrong!

More likely you need a really good scrubbing down with Jeyes Fluid and a wire brush!  Moi will sort you out in a jiffy!

I have this horrible feeling that they'll win the Europa League and thus qualify for Champions League next season.

The thought of them in the CL next season and not us is too much to bear.

Anyone else think Klopp's story about the Sunderland game sounds totally false?

He claims that before the game he asked each player if they were too tired to play. He says he told them they could drop out of the Sunderland game if they wanted and he wouldn't tell anyone. Apparently they all said they were raring to go.

Is it not his job to determine who is ready to play? Given the moaning he has done about the fixture calendar, why did he not use his squad better? Is the idea that his players want to play even if they are knackered meant to impress people?

All sounds a bit stupid and false to me.

I don't think that's true. Players won't answer that unless the situation is dire.

Also, he's complaining about schedule but they don't even have Euro schedules just like us.

They were probably all inspired and energized by the brilliant character, tradition and history of Liverpool Football Club
